I'm a super fan of Chavela's Taco's,,,,,I absolutely love the steak tacos,,,the meat is soooo very tender and seasoned to perfection.....I'm soo sad when they go for the winter....Prices are nice too.....

My wife and I each had a chicken, carne asada, and el pastor with the mild green salsa. They were very flavorful and filling with the double tortilla, which kept them from breaking open and spilling their contents. They did announce as we were in line that they were only selling tacos at that point(4:45 pm). After they gave us our order, they closed the window and were done for the night.

The burritos are delish but they're only open two days a week? Mon and tues and half the time they don't even show up for those days. Like today's Tuesday and I'm here and they are not? Not to mention the burritos last year were 6. Now they're $7 which is fine except now they use half the amount of meat. I WANT LAST YEAR'S TACO TRUCK BACK. At this point I don't even know why they bother driving here. This could be a HUGE money maker business. The lines are always long so not sure what they're doing with their hours
