The updates made have added just a touch of a cleaner look to the dining area. The wait staff are happier than ever and so accommodating.
The only thing I'm disappointed with is, and with the area it's understandable, but that that do close for the deep winter months.
Luckily they stayed open longer this season.

I had the corner cafe special it was good but VERY greasy. The server only asked one guest what they wanted to drink, after I parked our car I was never asked what I wanted to drink so when placing our order I told the server what I wanted to drink. We had lots of leftovers but had to wait sometime for Togo boxes because it seemed like the server either forgot about us or was super busy, to me it didn't look that busy.

The atmosphere inside was similar to the old Kountry Kupboard but is clean and pleasant. The server was very friendly and welcoming. The food was just ok. I had the chicken salad wrap and it was bland pasty. My wife had a hamburger that appeared to be a frozen, not fresh patty. If I’m wrong, I apologize, but the texture and taste seemed from frozen. My son had the breakfast buffet and he was satisfied.

Corner Cafe (formerly Kuntry Kubbard) was excellent for breakfast. Breakfast special was very tasty and sever(s) were pleasant and efficient at coffee refills without being asked. Highly recommend! Menu photos from Aug 2025.

I've been coming here with my family for a few years, and was excited to try it again after hearing about all the changes. It looks pretty, the front of house is lovely as usual, but the food was very disappointing. I ordered steak and eggs, which comes with home fries. Nothing had any flavor or seasonings at all, the home fries were just a couple chunks of smashed potato, and my medium rare steak came out raw. Like, blood red, raw. It was seared from being thrown on a high heat grill and that was it. I'm not going to be trying this place again for a long time, hopefully they fix the issues in the kitchen.
