We always make a stop to Love Wines when in Ludington. They have the most tasty fruit wines around. The store is so cute and we love doing a tasting. The staff is always so friendly and kind. Dog Days and Razzleberry are our favorites!

Best wine ever! Something for everyone from whites to reds, dry, semi sweet, and sweet. Very nice owners. Also reasonable pricing. If you’re in Ludington Michigan give them a try you won’t regret it! And I just ordered more from them check them out you’ll love it. They have a great selection and they’re just great people with great wine.

We visited on a cold, January Saturday. The owner was pleasant, and gave us a very interesting history of the building. We love the old wood floors, and just the whole vibe of this old place. The wine was very good, and we bought two bottles to take home. We hope to visit again!

Good value for the tasting. However, staff should realize they’re in the hospitality industry. If their home life or personality doesn’t allow for positive interaction with customers (as stated in response to other reviews) it would be prudent to consider hiring someone who would be better suited to this to assist your customers. Additionally, several of their wines are available at the local Family Fare store for significantly cheaper where the staff was quite pleasant!

Waitstaff was rude. We specifically asked for our wine to remain open, they closed it, and then charged us a $10 fee for it. Rude. Overpriced. Inflexible. Would never come back again.
Horrible service. Group of 5, ask to leave, because we "appeared" to have too much to drink before we arrived. We had not drank before arriving. It was a half hour before closing. Would not recommend ever stopping here. Hubby ask for a glass and was refused service. This was not the first time we visited this location. Will not ever go back to this winery.

Have been to love wines several times and always enjoyed the setting and host. Although I took friends there today and was never treated so rudely. Was told first to hurry up because they had something to do in the back. Was refused service saying we were drunk because I have a limp. We had a DD and was far from drunk but we will never return there or there other sight in Portland MI. Good luck but as a business owner you do not treat your customers this way!

Have been to many wineries in Michigan. The winery is about the experience and I feel that the owner is very unfriendly. Wouldn’t even say hi to us when she walked in the tasting room. She had what seemed like a new employee and she kept correcting her in front of us. I felt really bad for the her. It made the atmosphere very uncomfortable. I tried to ask about a certain wine and when the employee asked the owner about it, she wouldn’t even acknowledge that we were standing right there and only would tell the employee the answers. The pours were ridiculously small, and I’m saying this as someone that’s been to dozens of wine tastings. I think the employee was just afraid to pour in front of her because she kept telling her what she was doing wrong. Some of the wines are good but most of them all taste the same. Overall very awkward experience and we will not be returning.

Great little spot with some nice tasting wines. I wish I could remember who helped us. She had a unique pretty name that start with an A. She was super nice and very friendly. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back.
