Lost creek Back Woods Lodge

We just celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at Lost Creek Lodge. We had 30 family members together at the lodge for the weekend. The ages of our family was 1 1/2 years to 87 and all the space on the rainy weekend allowed the littles lots of room to run and play. The pool table was in constant use. It was so easy to serve all the meals buffet style. Every family had their own bedroom. Our Saturday night celebration was beautiful with the decorated tables, candles the existing twinkle lights made it so festive. All the windows looking out into the field allowed us to see deer at breakfast. The lodge was very clean, very quiet sleeping area upstairs, all the accommodations for cooking were good and the beautiful bar and comfy stools was great fun for watching the game and conversation. It was a fabulous weekend due to the weather we only used the long front porch and rocking chairs. Hopefully another time we could enjoy the grassy area and campfire. Our group booked the place to hold a 3-day retreat, and it turned out to be the perfect setting. The lodge gave us the ideal space for both silence and joy, and every moment was filled with God’s presence. ✨A big shoutout to the host, Lauren for being so accomodating and kind.

We had an amazing 3-day retreat at Lauren's airbnb with our big group, and it couldn't have been more perfect! The house was spacious, clean, and very comfortable-everything we needed for both quiet reflection and group activities. Lauren and her family were such gracious and accommodating hosts, making sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed throughout our stay. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful home created the perfect setting for our retreat. Everyone in our group truly enjoyed the experience, and we are so grateful for the warm hospitality. We would definitely love to come back for future retreats or family gatherings. Highly recommended!

This lodge is amazing! It's huge and spotless. The rooms are perfect. I give it a 5/5. I'm coming back for sure.

Tucked away what a fantastic place to visit. I especially like sitting in the back looking out over the ranch. Haven't been there when the live entertainment is going but they seem very prepared to rock out in comfort and in multiple settings. Food is good too, I think they might have the best fries in the area, but will need to rsste more, hee hee.

Amazing smoked meat! No where else can you get an all you can eat buffet of incredible smoked brisket and ribs for $19.99. The service was great! Owner came by the table and we learned all about his events. Support your local business. A little off the beaten path but we'll worth it!

We went here with friends when we were at our cabin. It was actually good. Great pizza. Had a singer/guitarist who pretty good too.

My family had a tragedy, when my little brother lost his life because of a distracted driver. Lost creek immediately reached out to me and offered my family a buffet after the funeral , helping their local neighbors . And it wasn't just any buffet...it was smoked meet and sides. Best buffet ever. Smoked brisket, pork butt, ribs , home made salads , it was crazy good. Beautiful atmosphere, awesome food, caring staff, and great entertainment. They treat everyone like family. If you are in the area ..I definitely recommend.

Quality of food:????We had some poppers that were good. And we had the house pizza. BBQ brisket with peppers, it was awesome. Music, TVs, and more, depends on the weekend!Price:$$$Poppers and pizza didn't kill the bank.My experience:Golfed near by, stopped in to grab a pizza, didn't disappoint! The flavor was on point, and it was out quick! Can't say we hung out, but you could of! Nice people, might be busy, with limited staff... Nice place overall friendly staff. Decent food and drinks Good prices. Has fire pits corn hole and outdoor bar for gatherings as well as the indoor bar. Live music on occasion outside as well.

First time there we had a positive experience the food was good. Waitress could have been a little more attentive to all our needs not just our alcoholic beverages. Good help is hard to find these days and the learning curve is greater than it's ever been. We will go back looks like a great place to hang out listen to some music on the weekend and play cornhole.

The Texas Twinkys are so rich it makes your eyes sweat.. I will be back.

First, there was only one waitress. There were a handful of people at the bar and then us and another family sitting at tables. Then about 10 minutes later, a bunch more people came in. I felt really bad for the waitress doing everything by herself. It took almost 3 hours from the time we got there till the time we were done. The cook and her kept taking cigarette breaks and it's hard to know for sure if they were washing their hands every time. The cook kept giving her a hard time, expecting her to help him on top of everything else she had to take care of. There was also someone, who wasn't working, who was helping her make drinks. Not sure if it was an employee from another shift or something like that. The food was decent but it could've been better. Entree portions were small but I understand that's everywhere nowadays, unfortunately. The outside looked like half was the restaurant/entertainment area and other parts of the property were used for personal storage which made it look bad. I gave 2 stars because the waitress was trying her best or I would've given 0 if I could.

The service is horrible.. previous 2 times we have visited the service was just sad, but it’s Father’s Day weekend and my dad wanted to go there.. so we go.. sat there in a 1/4 full restaurant on a buffet night with waitresses walking around our table for about 15 mins. Then we finally just got up and left. My friends and I have drank this place out of whiskey in the past, and couldn’t even get a waitress to acknowledge our existence this time. My flatlander money will be spent elsewhere. Tootles
