Went for a date night, won't be back. Waitress took forever to greet us. Never came back to offer refills when our drinks were done, we asked once as she was passing by and she forgot about them. Finished our meal and again waited a while to get the check and some boxes. She spent the majority of the time we were waiting talking to what had to have been friends or regulars by the bar. Food was good, but there was a steak special advertised and it wasn't on the menu. When we asked about it, our waitress directed us to burgers instead. 🤷♀️

Really sad to see they stopped their delivery through Doordash. This place was the bomb. Excellent and affordable breakfast including delectable pancakes, fluffy, tasty eggs and hearty grits with cheese. Salmon cakes were delish. I'm a fan,, but without delivery, I no longer have access to their food.

Love this bar! Been coming here since I was a kid. Back in 1993 my step dad owned a little pizzeria on the back side of the building where the outdoor area is. That’s how my Mom met Mark Fox and they’ve been married for over 30 years. The bar has changed a lot since then. They have a wonderful outdoor area where there’s live music every night last night. I saw this guy who’s in a band called Two Tone Tobacco. My bartender was Melanie. She was awesome and my server was Katie who is a friend of mine who I haven’t seen in a long time we used to hang out back in Colorado! Anyway, had an amazing night fantastic music yummy food and really good drinks! 10 out of 10 would recommend don’t miss out on this bar. It’s the oldest bar in Michigan and a staple in the metro Detroit area!
Older blonde bartender with a bunch of tattoos seemed only interested in talking with regulars. Won't even bother sitting at the bar next time if she's working.
