What happened ? El Charro was the go to Mexican food. I don't know if it's because there are so many around , but your food has gone down hill. Prices have gone up though. Its to bad !

50 years of consistently great food. Been going since they were next to the Schwinn bike store. Anyone else remember that? My favorite things are the enchiladas and the puffy tacos, which are one of a kind. I've never seen them anywhere else. Also, the cheese fondue is a must.

Food is good service is terrible ordered a taco salad & a nacho she forgot to order the nacho I said that I would take it to go with sour cream she bagged it up to go asked her if she remembered the sour cream she said she did she charged me for 2 sour creams & didn’t put any in the bag

Waited 45 minutes for carry out. Ordered a full size chicken quesadilla. Look at my pic attached. They gave me 2 separate pieces that resembled a soft taco with melted cheese on it. The tortilla was definitely never cooked. Totally disappointed with the poor service, incorrect food, and high prices. I won't be back.

We love El Charro. I've been eating there since high school. I graduated 1990. The Harper Rd location at Fresard. I had several friends work there. All 3 locations are great.

Puffy tacos! Second time visiting this restaurant but different locations. This location is so small but we didn’t wait for a table which was good. Service was excellent, the moment we sat down someone brought chips and salsa. Drinks were never empty and food came out hot. Chimichangas and Puffy Tacos had the right amount of flavour and crispness. Everything was great!

Best puffy tacos in the world! Best enchiladas in North America! Great drinks too. Excellent service.
It’s one of my favorites! They’re great about accommodating my dairy allergy and their guacamole and salsa taste fresh and delish! They make great fish tacos! I usually get a taco dinner with fish or chicken tacos. Their beans and rice are tasty.

They have a Lions game day special for 10 puffy taco dinner. Tried to order this. They told me it’s only to go. But don’t say this on the picture while it’s posted inside when you walk inside the door. Please fix this or honor this.
