We love El Charro. I've been eating there since high school. I graduated 1990. The Harper Rd location at Fresard. I had several friends work there. All 3 locations are great.
Puffy tacos! Second time visiting this restaurant but different locations. This location is so small but we didn’t wait for a table which was good. Service was excellent, the moment we sat down someone brought chips and salsa. Drinks were never empty and food came out hot. Chimichangas and Puffy Tacos had the right amount of flavour and crispness. Everything was great!

My favorite things are the enchiladas and the puffy tacos, which are one of a kind. I've never seen them anywhere else.
Also, the cheese fondue is a must.
