I'm not one to leave reviews but I really do not want others to waste their money! I should have listened to all the one-star reviews I read. Everything that everyone mentioned about the food tasting bland, old, like chemicals and smoke all mixed together were true. We got three different dishes, spent over $50 and everything (including the egg rolls) was terrible! Had to throw it all away, none of us could have more than a few bites.

Ordered carryout from this spot on Saturday night—the order was ready within 25 minutes AND the food was great! We got the sweet & sour chicken and beef lo mein. Chicken was fresh, white meat (no chewy tendons or gross meat) and the lo mein was pretty good. We will be ordering from here again!

Low quality food with low quality ingredients. We asked them for chow mein after they messed up our order. My husband went all the way back to pick up the second order and even tipped them again. This is what they gave us the second time after messing up. It literally looks like they opened a package of raw ramen noodles, fried in oil for 30 seconds and put it in the to go box.

The steak with peppers and onion was somehow very bland along with the rice. The wonton soup is disgusting. The egg rolls are so bad that all 4 of us spit it out. The sesame chicken is a little sweet but still good.
Still the Best in the area. Egg-rolls made w bean sprouts no cabbage filler. Excellent fried rice. Stale Fortune cookie

Wow, unbelievable. The 5 stars reviews must be fake. Read the 1 stars. Food is inedible. Fried rice, hot&sour soup and the sauce from the almond boneless chicken all have the same weird smell. The egg rolls have a weird chemical taste. I think Golden Bowl is due for a health inspection and probably shouldn't be in business.

if i could give 0 stars on the food i would. the food was just bland very greasy and did not taste like the typical chinese food i always get. the fried rice was strange tasting and the egg roll was so bad i could not even swallow one bite. it had to of been cooked on a bad stove or in bad oil or both. it tasted like horrific chemicals i had to wash my mouth out so fast and the taste still lingered i felt sick. i have never had food taste so inedible before. i will though give the benefit of the doubt as the service was fast, efficient and kind but im disappointed and dissatisfied as i had to throw 90% of it away.

June 2024 - ordered our dinner from here Saturday night. I ordered the cashew chicken combo and the sweet and sour chicken combo. A lot of rice and chicken for both meals. Both meals were very good. Sweet and sour came with it's own container of sauce. They came with an egg roll but we did not like them. The inside was not that good. Overall, it took about 25 minutes to make the food and it was very good. I would recommend this place if you want some good food.
