Fantastic sports bar that has been in this historic building since the 1890's. Warm comfortable interior to play a game or bet on the lotto. Don't be fooled by the plain appearance of the outside stop in for great food. Fish and Chips is the best and they have been know for it for decades. Also burgers are top notch. Prices are still reasonable. Take the time to check out this long lived Macomb Co. Local favorite.

There is some history with Goldies, my concern is we stopped by wanting a burger and the barmaid was doing her best but couldnt keep up withe the 7 or 8 patrons and dealing with food orders all at the same time. Understaffed we finished our drinks, paid/ tipped and left to go down the street. Management should be present, she should not be left alone under any circumstances

Stopped in for a bite. Food was terrible. Ordered our burgers medium, they both were well done and flavorless. Service was poor. Overall not a good experience.
I love Goldie's. It's a great place to unwind, tip a couple of beverages and take in the rest of the patrons. Nobody's a stranger for long.

Really good servers and had root beer in a bottle and that's great. However, I ordered a burger medium and it was well done, the top bun was burnt and the burger was tasteless. Got a side of fries and they were underdone, could tell everything was kept frozen. My dad got fish and chips and the batter was overdone and hard as a rock. It was 50 bucks for 3 people and less than good food. Kind of a rip off. But I'm sure it's decent place to grab a drink.

FRIDAY FISH FRYS:What a difference a couple years make!?! Went here about 2 years ago for a fish fry, and the fish was awesome with very thick cuts. Now it was just overdone and dry! The pieces were smaller & thinner. Very overpriced for what you get. Maybe it's carryout vs dining in? I didn't mind paying mire when the fish cuts were that much better! The only problem before, was the fries. They corrected the fries but are still frozen, just not batter filled anymore The fish was extremely dissappointing this time. Service was rated low due to tipping. But the order was missing a multiple items. The good wasn't even edible so it reslly didn't even matter! The dogs ended up with a fish dinner tonight! We wont be back.
