CLEAN !!!! I drive out of my way to shop here. The place is cleaned and well stocked. Kinda funky how Isles go , but I can deal. Fruit always seems fresh. Associate's are a hit or miss. That's just life !!! Shouldn't recommend cause it's really never crowed. I like the quick in and out. THIS IS FOR THE MEIJER ON 24 MILE RD AND HAYES.

This store used to be the only story I used to go to, the way the staff had treated me it is safe to say I will not be coming back the management was great but the workers are the most lazy people I have ever seen, the cart people are not doing anything and the cashiers don’t hold strong conversations, the person who really upsets me is the manager Julie, she thinks she’s the boss of the whole company and thinks that people are going to cancel there plans with family to come in, you can tell her you need this day off 2 weeks in advance and she will put you on the schedule, I had a girl cash me out and she was not dress nearly work approved. This will be my last time KROGER IS ON TOP!!

Great grocery store with some of the household essentials you'll need. I love that they brought the smaller grocery store back and removed the superstore from this new location!

BRIAN - manager - what a useless waste.

COMPLETELY EMPTY at 6:30pm were Red Peppers, Green Peppers, Cucumbers, ALL CARROTS but the already peeled crap, Cabbage & Cauliflower. There was not ONE bag of lettuce & only 1 Spinach. I don’t know if Brian is the manager I typically see standing around in the evenings when I come later, but if so, he should work a little harder. He should be STOCKING if the product is in the back. He has 2legs and 2arms and can work hard to make up for his employees that don’t work hard (from what he told me). The products are in the back, because when you ask, if you can find someone, they will go in the back and get product. Hire more people if you’re having trouble keeping the shelves stocked Brian but when I said, I would take my business to randazzo right down the street, Brian didn’t seem bothered by it.

These people started out great, the store ran beautifully, shelves were stocked but over the last month and a half, they’re crashing. You can’t go in and find produce UNLESS Charlotte is there stocking the shelves. Brian, the useless manager, made excuses when I called saying “Charlotte is off” and they’re short staffed. Well, Brian, as a former manager myself I would suggest you take off your “manager apron” and put on your shelf stocking apron and get the items on the floor. I think they should put CHARLOTTE in charge of the store, she run circles around everybody in this location. It seems to be she’s the only person that can get anything done there.

We’ve visited this store multiple times per month since the opening - and pretty much only return because of the generous coupons that come in the mail.

In the past year or so, many items are regularly out of stock, no matter what day of the week or time of day you go. The produce section is especially problematic - things like mushrooms, salad kits, even potatoes at times are simply not replenished fast enough. You’ll also find certain staple fruits frequently unavailable, despite being in stock at other chains a mile away.

Employees, while friendly, frequently leave flatbeds of items in the middle of aisles or the medians, causing a hazard. These carts are supposedly used to restock the shelves, but with no one actually performing that task, they just impede the flow of shoppers. You’ll even see this on Sunday mornings, when traffic is typically higher.

Then there’s the issue of the promotional coupons that are for this store only. They will at times ring up improperly or just refuse to scan - needing an associate to override.

The bottle return room is another issue - there have been several times I’ve visited where there is only one plastic & can machine operational. Since it has a separate entry apart from the main store, it’s hard to flag down an employee to fix the issue with the other machines.

It would be one thing if this were an independent store in its early years, but for such a large company, it’s just an odd thing to see this many issues.

Although I really enjoy this local Meijer one thing that has frustrates me is their bottle return. I buy a brand of root beer " Hanks Soda" from this store specifically and I cannot return the bottles because it says, "they are not yet registered" when placed in the bottle return machine - I also cannot return them to any other stores. It would be extra helpful to customers if the store would register their products correctly for bottle returns.

This used to be my favorite store. The selection used to be good and the staff was always friendly. The staff is still GREAT, but the selection the past couple of months has been disappointing. Out of a lot of things I needed and stopped carrying a few of my favorite brands. Reminds me why I once boycotted Meijer for over 2 years.

Produce is so much better than Walmart, but at what cost. 8$ for blueberries the other day, sorry, not buying those.

The staff here are honestly really friendly.

This place use to sell some good produce when they first opened. The decline since then has been swift and abrupt. The amount of times I have seen fruit flies hovering over spoiled fruit and berries on the sales floor is astonishing. I buy a large bag of cucumbers and they’re already molding 2 days later. The dry, refrigerated, and frozen products still seem to be fine but I see it only as a matter of time

The store is nice and relatively clean and organized. I was able to find help when I was searching for an item, and that person was polite even though he said he “didn’t know much” and we ultimately couldn’t find the item. There are many sparkling waters and things like chips and dry goods. The pharmacy is a little limited on what insurance they take. The produce selection here is also limited. For example, several “normal” grocery items have strange availability. For example, today there was no cauliflower except a tiny head of cauliflower packaged with a tiny head of broccoli. And the only mushrooms they EVER stock are organic mushrooms. They confirmed this. The packaged greens also had very limited non-organic options. So I guess if you have the disposable income to pay a lot of extra money for organic produce, then this is your store. But if you just need the basics, things here are limited. I found that several items I regularly purchase at places like Kroger are marked up a dollar or more. I stopped by customer service to just let them know I’d prefer more non-organic options - just to give them some feedback from their customers. The lady just shrugged at me and offered to help me find the cauliflower (I had already asked someone else; there was no cauliflower.) I probably won’t be shopping here much, which is a shame because it’s the closest store to my home.
