I’m writing this and reflecting as I’m eating my final ever donuts from Willie’s; they were only accepting preorders, but because my mom painted a couple of rocks for Willie’s in the past they let her get a couple anyways. I’m currently 21 and have been going to Willie’s since I was in middle school, and I often would get an order of the donuts before going into class for many years. I enjoyed them greatly and will forever remember Willie’s as a fond pillar of my childhood. I’ll miss this place for sure.

I hear Willie is retiring and closing up shop after all these years. From the bottom of my heart and on behalf of my family, THANK YOU! You were my Dad's go-to spot to pick up a dozen to surprise us (my mom and 4 daughters) on Sunday or before practice for my softball team when I was a teenager. I'm sure he stopped there countless times before work. Willie's was always a fixture in our lives and we'll never forget that. Happy Retirement! 🥹🙏

Unfortunately, they were closing so they didn't have much left. I came for the Raspberry Bavarian Cream donut which I found out they are not able to make because they can't get one of the ingredients. So that was sad because that is what I went there for. I don't live in Michigan any longer so I won't be back but they did suggest if you are wanting something specific call them so they can hold it for you.
