I had the white filled long John. It was delicious all the way through. But I don't like the unfriendly atmosphere. The reason everyone liked Willys was the small town atmosphere they brought. Kind and friendly. Willys cared about what they served.
I’m putting up this review in support of Golden Donuts, I think some people are sentimental about willie’s, but the only donut they had that was any good was the fritter. I was never impressed with Willie’s, Golden Donuts is good, just like Willie’s some donuts are better than others…you have to keep an eye out for their Napoleon which is amazing and some of their other specialty donuts. Their fritters are good, about the same as Willie’s, but some of the other ones...

I love their chocolate cake donut and regular sized donuts overall. However, for the last 3 times, I ordered one of their premium donuts (apple fritter and cinnamon roll), they tasted dry (either overcooked or stale).
