Two stars is generous. I came in today, and granted I did customize my orders so I'll take that on the chin. But when I got there, I was told to wait because the order was not done, but it was done, they were just generally disorganized.
Heard a comment from one employee about 'driving them nuts' with the order I made, which was a 'Pick Two and Save' being a double checkerburger and checkerburger (no lettuce and tomato), a big buford (no lettuce, no pickle), a mushroom swiss burger, and an order of strawberry cheesecake bites with a Cherry Coke.
I maybe at most order Checker's between 2-4 times a year, and each time I go to one of these locations in the Detroit suburban area, the staff have some issue, make some comment about my order, I understand the irritation of custom orders to one's taste, but the last two or three times I've been here... I've gotten mouthed at in some way.
The food was fine, and it followed what I ordered to a T. It's just the lip service, from an employee or three with two of the last few orders I've gotten from this location (today and months back).
(EDIT: as of 9pm tonight, same day... the food gave me an upset stomach as well at one point, so yes, probably not going back here and all of it was cold too.)
(EDIT continued: had it at three stars, but the food made me a little grumbly tumbly, so knocked off a star. Two stars is generous.)

Wow, what a shame this used to be such a great burger joint. I used to come here pretty often, but probably never again. I ordered online, text came back that my order was ready. I pulled up and watched the gentleman inside put my order next to the window, look me dead in the eyes and walk away. My food sat there for almost 8 minutes while he made more frys , packed a chicken nugget order, helped drive thru. Im not sure what I did but he didn't want to give me hot food. I got home and the burgers are tiny now, like Wendy's or white castle. And they were cold. So cold the cheese wasn't even melted. I ate about half and pitched the rest. At least the chicken tenders were hot but they were over cooked and hard . Super disappointing for Rallys, they'll probably be closed soon. This isnt my first time in the last few months the getting a sub par meal here. Do better.

Just got an order through door dash. 10 pm. I got a bite box. I took one bite of a piece of chicken and it was so hard it hurt my tooth. How long did those have to sit there to be THAT hard? You've got to be kidding me. The fries were soft and gross. I live less than a mile from there. How did this happen?

employees here are VERY nice. it’s super clean, very quick and the food came out nice and hot . i already decided on the positive review before i opened my fry lover burger and realized there wasn’t any fries on it…. it’s okay i don’t need the calories but it was still tasty! accidents happen and it’s still edible .

They got the no tomato right but couldn't understand no cheese and yes please charge me for a ranch that I never receive. It's frustrating cuz I won't come back to point out the fact that you weren't busy just lazy. No excuse with the receipt correctly printed and stuck to the bag.

This restaurant was absolutely amazing. James and I forgot the cashiers name was so polite my food was outstanding they let me know that there would be a little bit of a wait so they can make me fresh products. I live in a suburbs in Novi and I don't get this kind of service or food where I'm at. I have also been a general manager in the food industry my whole life well for 24 years. So I know exactly what to look for in I got to say these gentlemen need a raise!! Again I'm very picky because I know the standards that need to be delivered and these men went above and beyond very polite very patient explain things I didn't understand and most importantly all my food was amazing thank you so much!! And well done and this time and age you just don't get the fresh service and food that I got today.

So I’m writing this review so integrity can be focused on at this checkers. I came in line and asked if they had if they had ranch and if I could get some, the lady said yes, and when I looked in the bag, there was nothing not even a single ranch usually this isn’t a problem, but it was for my girlfriend and she really wanted that ranch and i asked before I left and she said there were two I open the bag boom zero ranches.
After starting to eat I realized that I paid for a large fry and i got a small not even a medium, our chicken bite box had bites that looked freezer burnt.
