Our group of 12 had a wonderful lunch at Light Cantine last week. They have a huge menu with both Cantonese and Szechuan dishes (among others), and that can sometimes be a warning sign that the food would not be authentic. Turns out they have a Cantonese chef and a Szechuan chef. Both are there on the weekends but take turns during the week (call ahead to double check the schedule). Mixed bag here. One time we went and had some great chicken and good fried rice, authentic with solid service. Another time, they had only a single new part time employee working, and it was terrible all around. Hopefully that was the exception because the first time I’d have recommended it stronger.
