I always get the mango cakes, very tasty! Though I don't know if I'll get the largest size there. Last time and a separate occasion, the mango were overripe/ sitting out to long and were mushy. I usually go for the smaller sizes now and haven't had that issue.
Everything looked so good I wanted to try all of it! I got an ube cake and coconut cream bun. Everything tasted very fresh. The bakery is clean and bright inside, do NOT let the outside appearance of the plaza fool you!
Don’t let the run down appearance of this older shopping plaza dissuade you from checking it out. It’s not dirty, very chaotic. This reminds me of your typical bakery that you’d find in a city like Bangkok or Hong Kong. Once you cross that threshold the treasure box is displayed. The baked goods are great, decent prices, and different than a typical US or EU style bakery, however it leans closer to French. The baked goods here use non traditional ingredients, e.g. rice...
