Met a friend for brunch yesterday, both of us coming from an hour away and was not disappointed. Excellent service!! Food was good and the staff kept our coffees filled without being intrusive as we visited for a long time. Thank you !!

Food was very good but it took over 30 minutes to get our pancakes and eggs. Not sure why, restruant was busy but not that busy. We may try the Cast Iron Kitchen again just because the food was so good.

This the 2nd time that the family went in for Friday cod special as stated on the specials board and they did not have cod. We were presented with the alternatives walleye or trout, opted for walleye. Had choice of fries, mashed potatoes or baked potato. I will say this my baked potato was delicious however the walleye was small and served with chunks of parmesan cheese(no 😒) The waitress was very attentive and friendly, the place was clean just disappointed with the food.

I've been coming here for about 6 months after returning from Florida. I was going to the one in Cadillac Michigan and imagine my surprise when I found them closed upon my return. I do miss all the ladies I got to know, but I should have seen this coming with a foot of snow outside, and over several weeks, the heater didn't work. It was too cold inside to return. I blame the economy more than anything because in Florida, several restaurants have also closed. Before returning to Florida, one of the waitresses surprise me with a hug. I felt like I was surrounded by friends and hope they all are doing well.

Stopped in the way up north. Food was decent but I was very disappointed when I ordered fries with my burger. They charge $2.99 for fries and you literally only get about 10 fries. Less than half of a kiddie fry at McDonald’s. They were also undercooked and soggy. I would have given 5 stars. But if you’re going to charge that much for a French fry upgrade, at least offer a decent serving size. Very disappointed

First time here and not only the food but service was great. Ronnie was very pleasant and checked back to see if we needed anything a few times. Would recommend Cast Iron Kistchen to anyone who visits Manton

So-so
The restaurant is clean. However, they don't turn in the air and the entire place is filled with smoke from the kitchen. We both left smelling like onions.
The wait staff is friendly but overall service is on the slower side.
The food tastes great but the portions are very small. I had the corned beef hash and there was maybe an ounce of actual corned beef. I ordered a side of hash browns that finally came out half way through the meal and my wife never received her toast.
The price is on the high side for what you get. $41 (not including tip) for two breakfasts and a couple drinks.
