Great food and beer selection. Their pizza is amazing. Great atmosphere in an old schoolhouse, as well as a curling center in the back!

Pork tacos quite flavorful but not because of the pork. Mostly, delicious tacos that happen to contain pork. Might want to consider pork sandwich for more overt pork flavor.
Cinnamon bread pudding sounds delicious but not consistently available.
Pizza is reasonably deep.
Attached curling rink makes for unexpected sport spectating.

Overall good food. Ranch was sub par, and the drinks were ok. Service was good, not great. Food came out fast, and fresh.

This is a fun restaurant with great food and atmosphere. I've been coming here annually when I travel up north and have never been disappointed. There is a great beer selection, and the menu is interesting, fresh, and well prepared. I highly recommend it!

Overall, the food and service was really good! The cowboy burger was good, so were the chicken tacos. Only negatives were that i had to kill a couple of ants that were crawling on the wall and table and had to keep the flies from landing on our food. Also, there was live music (which was nice) but it was very loud at some points.

Broomstick has the potential to be a very nice restaurant with its location, decor, music and service. However, for anything other than burgers or fries, the chef really doesn’t know what he’s doing.

For example, his idea of a taco is shredded lettuce and sinewy dry shredded chicken. How about some peppers or onions or cilantro or hot sauce or lime juice?

Another example is salad with “grilled chicken”. Again, the chicken is sinewy and dry and the salad was topped with some kind of nasty sweet and sour brown sauce.

Mr. Chef, I realize your restaurant is in a small farming town but you’re charging full price and there are many fine restaurants in the area. You really have no excuse as you have access to the internet and YouTube. You need to do some homework.

The menu has changed a lot since our last visit. The menu on the website is very out of date. They used to have very good burgers here but they are no longer on current menu, neither is the fish and chip which was my personal fav. Wait staff is excellent. Food is very mediocre and choices are limited. Sadly, I do not think we will be back. I included a photo of the current menu

Stopped by for a drink and left with a dinner I'll forget. Strawberry smash drink is amazing. They make their own strawberry infused vodka for this one.
Ordered their beef short rib pizza to-go and the smell on the way home was overwhelming. Such an awesome pizza! And I'm a thin crust kinda girl, this pan pizza was to die for. Wish I lived closer to order this on a weekly basis. Thank you for your wonderful and prompt service, and your delicious drinks and pizza!

Recently visited and was so disappointed in the food quality. I grew up in the area and have always raved about the burgers/food. The service was great however the food left me feeling embarrassed to have recommended like I have to others. We came for burgers and were told that due to recent (last month) storms the hood was not up and running, which we totally understand. 5/9 for us ordered the chicken sandwich which was good. However I couldn’t get over The prices- $11 kids Mac and cheese that was a SIDE portion with no side or drink item; $8 up charge for “truffle” fries- which consisted of normal fries that were undercooked topped with a VERY little sprinkle of cheese and dipping sauce. Hoping some changes are made to rebuild our love for this place.

This place was a gem! Unique and friendly. The hot honey pizza might be one of the best pizzas I have ever had!

Party of four had dinner there on July 4, 2025. Food was good, but not as advertised on the menu. The apple salad was small and did not have candied walnuts on it and the nachos had no cheese on them. The 1/2 ribs that my husband ordered were tasty, but we ended up ordering cheesy fries after our meals because we were still hungry. The ribs came with coleslaw and nothing else. The server was friendly and efficient.
