The word hospitality is not in their dictionary. Arrived 30 minutes before the kitchen opened after driving an hour to get there for my bday just to be turned away and told to come back in 30 minutes! This is a Bed and Breakfast on a beautiful property but instead of inviting us to take a seat and enjoy the view, they told us to come back. There is nowhere else to go nearby!!! Rude and disappointing! We left and did not come back, ate in Cedar instead!

You know how there’s always that one special place from your travels that holds a lasting, fond memory? For our family, it’s the Little Traverse Inn. We stumbled upon it during a trip to Michigan several years ago, and it ended up being such a memorable stop — a wonderful meal, warm atmosphere, and the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home.
Our kids were little then and had the best time climbing the big tree outside and running around the grounds. It’s a memory we all cherish, and we still talk about it whenever friends or family mention heading to that part of Michigan. We’re hoping to make it back again soon — it will always be a favorite.

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the greater TC area. We are locals and come here frequently. Michelle at the bar made our girls night into a total event. Excellent service, fantastic food, and the best ranch dressing in the entire world. Lots of love from Lake Ann!

Great atmo and service. We all had fish and chips. The coating was 1/4 in thick, way too thick, inedible so dropped a star. The fries and salad were great. I'd go back and try something else. Music was nice, not too loud. Loved the front patio, eating space.

I had been wanting to go to the Little Traverse Inn for years, but always seemed to find myself driving by after already eating. We finally made it a point to visit for lunch on a Friday when they opened and loved our meal. Don't be shocked by the jalapenos in every burger selection, it's not as spicy as it may seem. The fries are amazing and so are the large portion sizes! I got the fish and chips and loved every bite. Great history!
