This is simply one of my favorite breakfast joints anywhere.
We live downstate and always make a point to visit the Pegtown for breakfast at least once when in the area. And we have for many years.
Service is always great, food is good, cooked perfectly, and it’s the furthest thing from a tourist trap.

This is the perfect small town experience with great classic American food. We were staying a few minutes away and went there two mornings. Great food and very well priced. Awesome waitresses. You must stop in, but get there early, as it gets busy.

We were visiting Sleeping bear dunes and needed a meal. We found this place and were not even slightly disappointed. We were greated when we walked in with such kindness. The food came out quickly and best of all! It was absolutely delicious. We got subs, a pizza and some fries. They were extremely filling.

Large take out deep fried mushrooms advertised as 1 lbs......total weight with the take out box and the ranch dressing in it....weighed a total of 0.86 lbs.

It's not my favorite pizza parlor. There are not enough toppings on the pizza, and I like mine cooked a little more well done. Plus-service was very friendly and efficient. Wish they offered beer and wine.

The Supreme Nachos were awesome! I found out they make their own taco meat. That was delicious! I’d come back just for those. Super friendly and attentive staff as well.

You absolutely get your money's worth. The pizza was delicious . We had the Pegtown Station pizza. It had lots of toppings. They just need a bit better system for ordering and picking up. Two separate lines would do, but Idk if they have the space for it. But, one person taking orders and one person for pick ups would be more efficient.
