Trattoria Funistrada

We had a very good experience overall. Our only negative was main entree Veal Saltimbuca was overwhelmed with amount of Proscuito they put on it. Kind of took away from the veal. Very charming place and appears many regulars.

We thoroughly enjoy this restaurant every year. Food is fabulous and the service is fantastic. Looking forward to next years visit.

An out-of-the way drive while on our Michigan vacation was well worth it! Funistrada provides a memorable experience - exceptional food and service - in a lovely setting.

Funistrada is a gem of a restaurant near the SE corner of Glenn Lake. The food is fantastic as is the service. Loved it!

From the moment we walked in, we knew this place wasn't right for us. It was extremely loud! While we had reservations for 4, we were only 3 as our 4th could make it last minute. The hostess was less than nice about it. She said we could have called ahead. Not the welcome to our restaurant we were hoping for. We were the last table seated at 8:30. It took forever to get our drinks. My Glen Arbor cosmo tasted like cough syrup. The shrimp scampi was very stinky. The mussels were excellent. The small caesar salad was great, our waitress made it sound like it came with the meal but it was an extra $7 each. The lasagna was average, yet huge. Could have been split three ways. The veal piccata was average. And when we got home, we noticed an extra $35 charge... for the missing 4th person. Never will I ever go back!! Rude hostess with a complex. And the food was very average over all.

Always a great experience! Funistrada is the best restaurant in the area! Their pasta dishes are excellent especially the tortellini and angel hair carsoni. The chicken saltimbocca is delicious also. The service is always excellent just adding to the experience! Hands down our favorite spot!

Funistrada is such a welcoming restaurant!! Wonderful choices ...food is delicious! Comes out hot! Wines are reasonably priced. There are always new dishes. Glad they brought the pasta with peas and bacon back!! Salmon with wine sauce perfect! The BEST!!

My monthly trip to Funistrada and adjusting to the summer crowds! The grouper special was superb! Looking forward to a pasta entree in July. Appreciate this restaurant's commitment to consistent excellence.

Always a wonderful experience, from the wait staff (ours was Kathy) to the fabulous food (ours was Anniversary Chicken). We come back as often as we can. A real Gem!

We had a delicious dinner at Funistrada! My husband and I both had the chicken Parmesan, which was delicious. Liz was a great and attentive server! Our favorite local restaurant!
