Food was amazing, staff was very polite and respectful, would definitely recommend if you’re going through Marenisco to stop here for a bite to eat! :)
Evelyn cooked up a great burger on a Friday afternoon while she was prepping the fish fry. Excellent food!
I had an egg type breakfast with hash browns and other ingredients mixed together with the eggs. Kinda dry and not heavy on flavor. Service was fast and very friendly.Very nice atmosphere and decor but it was snowmobile season and the place was empty except for us. The bar/pizza joint down the street was jam packed with about a 30 minute wait to get in. That's just something that made me wonder.

Earla's was the best dining experience I have had in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan! I know that sounds like an exaggeration, but it really was the best! Ok, we got there, early, and the owner Chris (same name as myself) was having trouble lighting her oven, due to turning off the gas before doing a deep clean the night before on her vent hoods. I offered help, as I was in the restaurant business in my previous life. We team worked to get the oven going, and that was that. Ok, my wife and I just ordered the bacon cheese burgers and fries. They came to the table via our server who was great, just the right amount of chat-get our stuff to us. I noticed instantly that the buns on our burgers were hot, she makes her own burger buns, which tasted awesome! The actual burger meat was not some pre-made patty, but a hand spanked out great tasting burger that made my night! Onion, tomato came with, which way up here sometimes is an extra cost! Fries, perfect for my taste, not the giant steak fries, but a perfect size, maybe pencil diameter fry, and cooked perfectly. I came in Earla's not expecting perfection, but received it! My business will be going there often! Thank you Chris and Staff for making my night, and my mouth water just thinking about going back! Chris and Pam, from Florida! ?
