I’ve been trying to dine here all summer. Absolutely no idea when they are open as they have not bothered to update their hours on Google. During that time they’ve stopped serving their Polish entrees due to competing businesses now offering these entrees (according to an employee). No other restaurant in MC offers Polish entrees, so I’m not sure why they’d use this excuse. This restaurant has a lot of work to do, maybe just stick to catering.

My husband and I have visited the Bistro four times and have been impressed each time. The meals are always prepared well and are delicious. The menu is varied with lots of choices. We've enjoyed sandwiches, flatbreads and entrees. The soups are homemade and tasty as well. Their menu includes some vegetarian options to go with their hamburgers, sandwiches and specials. They also have a very busy catering service you might want to consider. Check the hours before you go as they are not open evert day. Right now they are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday for lunch and dinner.

FIVE STARS BEYOND FIVE STARS It was such a exquisite and excitingly delightful experience and had such great servers and waitresses (Lilliana and Steven) they had such polite manors and served such great sustenance, I had consumed but a marvelous meat loaf sandwich that had me dying for it’s incredible flavor. IT WAS AS IF I ASCENDED TO ANOTHER PLANE OF TASTE BUDS. As well as the refreshments were refreshing and crisp I had a delighting lemonade that made me question if I was enjoying it slow enough cause it was Extravagant. As well as there delicious steak flavored French fries that made me think I was consuming potatoes and sTEAK THIS PLACE HAS MADE ME REQUESTION WHAT I LIVE FOR AND THAT THIS PLACE IS FIVE STARS TO THE MAX I will never dine to anywhere so great ever again might even have to work here to make that amazing sandwich

this is the finest dining in all of america in my experience dining at this 5 star establishment my servers steven and lilliana gave me the most exquisite service imagineable, they made sure i was always hydrated and brought me the most delightful heaven sent italian wrap to wash down with the most amazing lemonade of my lifetime and to top it off i got the most amazing fries i have ever consumed this meal has made me wonder if i’m truly living in a simulation cause i have never seen something so perfect in conclusion if you are anywhere in the world and looking for something to eat go to your nearest airport and get a flight to michigan to visit this one of a kind restaraunt

Not sure where all the 5 star reviews are coming from but I can't agree with them. Ordered chicken Piccata and my wife ordered a Cobb salad. Soup or salad came with the meal so I got the chicken soup. Mostly broth with two tiny pieces of chicken and I had to ask the waitress, where is my soup after a ten minute wait. Got my meal and the chicken was so rubbery that couldn't cut it. Wife salad was very skimpy. Waitress said she would talk to the manager and he said they are going to take half off my meal. Chicken Piscata is $17 and they took off $7. ???? ? do not recommend this place when there are so many good restaurants in Marine City.
Bistro 428, now located within the restaurant area of The Inn on Water Street, is utilizing this great space with even more delicious dishes than they had at the original 428 Broadway location.The biggest change I noticed was the offering of some seriously amazing pastas. I had the gyro (amazing), wife had the mahi mahi special and daughter had pasta Bolognese. While all the food was great, we were most impressed with the pasta - the Bolognese sauce was STELLAR. We started with the garlic dough ball appetizer which is served with a small cup of Bolognese sauce. Unbelievably delish. Bread dough balls baked to crusty perfection coated in garlic and grated parmesan to dip in the amazing Bolognese.....Mmmmmm.The menu is quite expansive and offers everything (if I recall) that was offered sandwich and salad-wise at the original location, but expands considerably with additional wraps and traditional plated food including burgers and these incredible pastas. One of my favorites at the original location was the Bologna Sandwich and I specifically checked to ensure that was still on the menu - rest assured, it is! A more expansive Italian menu is definitely a great addition to the already great culinary experience in Marine City, and I'm hopeful the new location of Bistro 428 does great. I know we'll be back soon!

Used Bistro 428 to cater my daughter graduation party. AMAZING. From the minute you speak to Nan on the phone, right down to the food ...feels like home. The food and atmosphere are perfect. Always helpful and willing to work with special needs or concerns. highly recommend eating and using Bistro 428 anytime!

So excited they finally have normal hours! I’ve been craving the tandoori sandwich for months but decided to switch it up for the chicken pub club. I was not disappointed! Great food, great people, great prices I highly recommend Bistro 428.

Stopped there while doing a stop in Marine City and saw on-line that they were supposed to be good . Two major problems. #1. I didn’t get any napkins nor a fork for my pasta salad on a carry-out . #2 . I have to drive from Harrison Twp to Marine City at least once a week to get REAL food ! Why can’t they be near me ??? Awesome .
