Sweetest Day dinner. The mister and I had fish and chips and a slab of ribs. One of the best meals we have had! The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. The ribs fell off the bones and the sauce was so yummy. Some of the best fish I have ever had. Can’t wait to go back!
Amazing food and nice vibe overall this is 100% and must go for anyone the best part is the decoration so much to look at and see it gives a very warm welcome as soon as you walk in and your always greeted with warm smiles
This place is awesome!! The brisket is to die for and the ribs are so succulent. I personally had the smoked meat platter, and brett even came up and greeted me in my little booth.
One of the best meals we have had in a very long time!!! Can’t wait to come back!
Foxfire Fixins is a gem worth every bite. From the moment you step inside, the warm, rustic atmosphere sets the tone for a relaxed and memorable meal. The staff greets you like an old friend, and the service throughout is attentive without ever feeling rushed. The food? Absolutely fantastic. Every dish bursts with flavor and is clearly made with care. The portions are generous, the presentation is inviting, and each bite feels like a little celebration. Whether you’re savoring their signature entrée or indulging in dessert, you can tell the kitchen takes pride in their craft. It’s rare to find a place that nails both comfort and quality, but Foxfire Fixins does exactly that. If you’re looking for a restaurant that combines great food, welcoming service, and an atmosphere that feels like home, this is it. Highly recommended!
Horrible service and subpar food. Great atmosphere. We dined here as a family twice over the past year and both experiences were the same. There were only two waitresses on staff. When we came in there were only two or three other tables sat. We put in our orders and were left to wait for over an hour each time, during which we were only approached for a drink refill once or twice. As the wait dragged on, more tables filled up, about 5 or 6 more. Those tables were seated, served, paid, and left all before we were served. When we were finally served, only 4 of the 7 plates came out, then the other three were left to wait another five minutes before they were served. Half of the food had major issues. Medium rare burgers served well done. Medium burgers served bloody rare. Cold fries. Chicken breast so over cooked and tough you couldn't cut through it. When we sent a couple plates back asking for a refund, the manager/cook finally came out and asked what he could do to make it right, saying he could have pulled pork ready to go in two minutes. He claimed it was due to a shift change. We had arrived at 345pm, put our orders in by 4pm, and weren't served until 515pm. There's no way a simple shift change would have us unserved while 6 other tables were seated and served while we waited. They either forgot about us or have a terrible queuing system where they cook smaller tables foods first regardless of order time. And this story happened twice. We tried the place once, had this happen to us, got the apologies from the manager, decided to give them another chance, and got the same exact treatment and same "This never happens, what can we do to make it up to you?" At this point, nothing can make up such a miserable set of experiences. If my family ever says they're going to give the place a third chance, I'll be staying home that night. The decorations are unique though.
Great food, great atmosphere, attentive and friendly wait staff!

While out and about we spotted the restaurant and decided to have dinner there that night. We got there early and were the only table. Servers were friendly but need to know more about the menu. ie: size portions. No tables have bbq sauce on them and you are charged for extra small containers. All the bbq restaurants I've eaten at plus the one I worked at in Royal Oak, all have sauce on the tables and were made from scratch. The bbq was good and is worth the visit.
Great place

This little eclectic place is a gem! The service was exceptional. How many owners come up the table and treat you like family? Not many in my experience. Brent was amazing! He is kind to his customers and his staff. Not many owners who treat their employees with respect and kindness. Everyone else was great as well. Now for the food. Well I’m a culinarian and am quite picky with my food. Foxfire Fixins food is awesome! Homemade mashed potatoes ( which by the way is almost nonexistent), and th gravy was so good I could have licked the plate, meatloaf delicious, collard greens excellent, most Northerners have no clue how to make them, everything was spot on. The piece de resistance however was the brisket! Great smoke, beautiful bark, and juicy. Um-um. Awesome job!

Visually stimulating place. Stuff everywhere. Our waitress Angie was super nice. Had lunch of a Reuben and Brisket sandwich. Very good. Chips were a bit to salty for me. A little pricey but good sandwiches. No one there for a

Went to Foxfire Fixin's as a family outing for lunch So I got the taste of brisket and the pork their delicious, savory flavors, Moist and well smoked. Let us sample the four kinds of BBQ sauce so you got to choose which one you wanted I would have to say it's the best in the state of Michigan That was our first trip there, but we'll definitely be back. Angie took great care of us.
