I LOVE their 1/2 lb. burgers! They ALWAYS cook mine exactly as I order it med-rare. Love their beer boombas. Very friendly. REASONABLY priced. GREAT 60-70's music piped in. View of river. Outdoor seating avail. front & back. If u want fast food go 2 McD's.This is BAR food OK! & they do a great job. If u want gourmet foo foo food go elsewhere & pay out the azz 4 it.
Just got a bleu cheese burger from there today 2/5/2025 completely trash like one spoon full of cheese that's it. Your good cost to much to cheap out on the best part of the burger. Not happy sending it back now
I stopped in once in the summer for the first time. I tried the "famous" Gar burger that people talk about. It was just a bun with meat in between. No flavor, just cooked meat. The service was okay, the server was very busy and it was clear that she was overwhelmed. Clearly not her fault, having too many tables to adequately tend to her customers; maybe someone called in. She was nice though. I went back recently and tried the burger again. Same result. No flavor. Service...
