We usually go to the flashback diner, but due to it being Labor Day, they were closed. We ordered 2 meals and an appetizer. Appetizer was the jalapeño cheese bites and came out super quick. The appetizer was amazingly good.
It took an hour just for our food to come out. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all as well.
The waitress was incredibly nice, just getting out our drinks took forever and she never came by to check on us like any other waitress would.
The southern omelet is meh. The sausage was delicious but the gravy was very bland. The gravy just didn’t really taste like gravy.
The mushroom Swiss burger was pretty good.

Half hour to get an order to go. Absolutely the worst hamburger and small dried up chill dog I have ever had. Onion rings and fries were a joke. Never going back there

We sat for an hour waiting for our breakfastNo one told us why the wait was so long. Ended up leaving (and our food still wasnt out) as we wouldn't of had time to eat.

Unfortunately, I was involved in an accident on 115. My car was totaled. The sheriff collected all my packages and belongings, loaded them in his car, and dropped me off at the Dream Diner to wait for my son driving from Onekama. I was made very welcome. They were concerned about how I was, and offered me coffee immediately. I could not have asked for more caring and calming people to help me through it. After a bit, I enjoyed a bowl of their homemade chili, and it was absolutely delicious! You will not be disappointed in their hospitality or their homemade goodies.

There aren’t many food options in Marion but thankfully, this is a good one. Home style, basic food that tastes good. They have homemade bread which tastes great.2 eggs + 3 strips of bacon + 2 pieces of toast for $8. Can’t beat it!
