I hate to give low ratings to local businesses. But every time we’ve come this summer, the service has been really poor. They act like they’re annoyed you’ve even shown up.And the servings are tiny for the price.Given the alternative right up the street, I just don’t see the appeal.

There's not enough I can say about this place. I grew up eating here several times a week. I lived right around the corner on Steele St so it was a must. This place has very reasonable prices and a huge selection to choose from.I have since moved away however whenever I am back in town it's a must stop. They are seasonal and only open Memorial Day through Labor Day. This place is everyone friendly even pets! I used to take my Rottweiler there every time we went for a walk and she would patiently wait for her cone to come out, once it did it did not last long. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. The food that they serve has also been really good and again at a fair price when everyone else has raised prices. They have seating on the sides of the business and there's room to park all around the business. This is a Mason Michigan Staple, if you're ever passing through you have to stop in and get some ice cream. Yes I am bias but this is the best ice cream you will find, I love the Dairy Hill and will always go there when ever I am in town! Thank You Dairy hill for 40 plus years of my life for the best ice cream around!

Love having Dairy Hill in Mason. It harkens back to the old days of meeting your friends at the ice cream shop. Small towns. All that.But the ice cream is awesome too! Cinnamon, Blackberry and Egg nog - top 3 for me. I’d you haven’t tried a lunch there do yourself a favor and try it. The hot dog buns are homemade and delicious. ❤️
