Just moved to the area and out family of four has been desperate to find our new favorite breakfast joint. My wife suggested we try this place after seeing it online and we absolutely adored the place. The employees were very attentive and the food was second to none. The German omelette they serve is out of this world. Such a cute diner they've built out of this old train depot. This place is simply awesome

If you like antiques and quaint country decor, you will love this diner. We had A very nice server which made going to breakfast even more fun. Our food did take a minute and my biscuits and gravy were Luke warm--I could have sent them back, but I didn't want to take the time. My friend lived her omelet and shared a piece of toast--which was delicious. I warmed up my biscuits and gravy at home and they were great.

Awesome breakfast. Delicious pancakes that were the size of my steering wheel! Really good breakfast sausage as well! The atmosphere being in the old rail depot is both relaxed and interesting. Definitely should stop for breakfast!

This place never disappoints!! Great service, food is outstanding!! Today I got the bacon cheeseburger wrap. My husband ordered 3 blueberry pancakes and bacon, for reference the pancakes are served on a dinner plate.

Today was my first meal at the diner and it didn’t disappoint! I had the BLT/soup combo off the daily specials board. The order was to go and it was delicious. I haven’t had a BLT in years and it was so tasty! The lettuce was fresh, tomato had flavor, bacon wasn’t grizzly it had a nice thickness and the bread tasted homemade. The soup was hot and easily my new favorite. If you like a little kick the pepper jack is amazing! I’ll definitely be back to this lovely historic diner. The huge bonus is the shopping within walking distance-such a fun eclectic atmosphere! Supporting Michigan based businesses is immensely important to me and what I discovered today … makes me excited to return!

My first time at Mason Depot Diner today and it was amazing! The food is delicious (I had the grilled cheese and French fries) and everyone was so friendly. It is also a very affordable place to eat. We will definitely be back and I can’t wait to try breakfast! 5 stars!

First time doing a ToGo order at Mason Depot this morning, we had a large order and the food was ready in 10 minutes. It was hot and fresh and ready for us when we arrived. Service and food were great, we will be back for sure!!

Stellar. Update 18 October 2024: Visited here again for the first time in a while and made new memories. We love the historic decor; you almost fee like it was 1908 when you walk in. Neither the tables nor their coverings nor the chairs match in likeness or form - it's like going to my mom's for breakfast only with seating for 80 people! The servers are friendly and engaging; our breakfast scramble came out hot and fast. You will have to wait for a table if you show up at peak time, so get there early (you can get your morning groove on there at five thirty in the am :-). Owners are looking to sell, so if you haven't had the please, imbibe soon.
