The space is beautiful 5 STAR and service was great! But I'm going to have to give your COLD BREW A 1 RATING. I've never had a cold brew that had a burnt taste.... That was a new one. Maybe they accidentally gave me iced coffee...but that didn't taste like Cold brew.

Our family loves this place. Laid back atmosphere, plenty of space to meet up with other families or find a quiet nook. The staff always remembers your name and favorite orders. I sometimes call in while on the way to work and they ask if I just want the usual. Just incredible business run by incredible people with delicious food and drink.

In my experience, this is now a favorite coffee shop of mine, and I will be going back.
The coffee was delicious. Taste Coffee is using a delicious roast which rises above most others. While being flavorful, it was smooth and easy on my sensitive stomach. I loved every drop of my unflavored latte. Oh, and the pretzel and dip are worth it. I guarantee. I also enjoyed the scone.
The atmosphere was as good as it gets, considering the building is soon to be demolished from being old and in need of repair. They seem to have promising plans for an impressive new construction. Don't wait though, what they have now is charming in certain areas. Being just a few miles off the main town of Okemos, I will easily make the detour.
The young staff is ?. You will not get served with the same love anywhere else in the Lansing area. Everyone I met was sincerely joyful to be working in this very special coffee shop.

my favorite local coffee!! the staff is so sweet (every single one of them), their rewards are fantastic, everything i’ve had has been incredible (food & drink). & a wonderful covered outdoor area to sit outdoors even if it’s raining. the bagels are so good it’s ruined me for any other bagel- nothing else compares

There is no better coffee shop in the Greater Lansing area than Taste. Their food is top notch, especially their pretzels! Their coffee is so consistently perfect. On top of the best food and coffee, their customer service is the best of the best. I have not found any other restaurant or coffee shop with this level of service. They are polite, friendly, and quick. The building has a lot of space for me to work or take my kids for a saturday morning cinnamon roll. Highly recommend. I drive way out of my way every morning for a coffee and to work.

It's a very unique coffee/venue place. Patrons may see any of the two open areas, which are pretty beautiful and located toward the back of the establishment to muffle the sound of the cars coming from the busy street. They have varieties of coffee. I can't attest to the food since I didn't have any. The seating area inside ample open space may become loud if children are there, and the sounds travel too fast or are an issue with the acoustic due to the big open high ceiling seating area. By the way, the coffee is excellent.

Found this out of the way secret gem searching for a coffee shop early one morning. Was not disappointed. Great cappuccino and breakfast pretzel on a chilly rainy morning and the service was friendly and fast. Only wish they still rented out their attached gorgeous rustic banquet space for events...we'd totally consider renting it for something.
Taste Coffee was the perfect place to meet coworkers, spread out and get some work done. The coffee and pretzel were both delicious. We allowed the atmosphere and vibe. ☕️🪴🖤

If you want to stay out of the crazy hubbub of East Lansing and Okemos (/s) this might be the place for you. It's quiet, near farmland, and spacious in terms of seating areas, one of which seems like a set-up for a wedding or an awards ceremony--it's that big. My Cold Foam Caramel Latte wasn't especially cold or flavorful and was delivered without a straw.
