They have cockroaches! Seriously disgusted by this place!
My husband and I went in for dinner the other day. The atmosphere was quaint and unique and we had a good feeling about the place until we started eating our food. As we ate, a cockroach was on the bar railing as if watching us eat. It was bizarre and gross. Come to find out that they were infested with cockroaches. I mentioned something to the bartender who then informed us that they recently spent thousands of dollars on multiple exterminators to get rid of their bug infestation. Glad he was honest, but it grossed us out even more. Because, apparently, it did not work. We wanted to speak with the owner but she was unavailable. We left our name and number, but never heard from them. We will never go back and seriously recommend you think about doing the same. We did get our meal and drinks free, but a cockroach is a cockroach is A COCKROACH! Would have liked to get pics of the bugger, but by the time I grabbed my phone, it scurried off. Seriously disgusting.

This is my favorite place to eat in Mason. I have been here 4 times and each time the food and service go above and beyond my expectations. The staff is super polite and competent. The burgers are some of the best I've had anywhere. Keep up the good work guys!
The food was just ok. I probably would have this on my list of regular restaurants to go to. But it smells awful, a mix between mildew and sewage. I had to leave because I was getting dizzy. They were kind enough to comp my meal. Staff was excellent. A few major tweaks and this restaurant could really shine.

Had a wonderful dinner tonight at the tipsy nickel! I had the pasta in the wheel with shrimp! Great service, plump and juicy shrimp and delicious pasta! My husband had the pork sandwich with sweet potato fries and he raved about it! Run, don’t walk to this laid back and attentive establishment.

We went here tonight for the first time and I now have a new favorite restaurant. We had their Wednesday night special of pasta spun in a cheese wheel right at our table, we decided to add steak bites on the waiter ( Darell,s ) recommendation. It was fantastic, the steak bites were tender and had a great taste, the pasta was delicious. We had started with the onion ring tower and that was very good, not greasy at all, they were crispy and when you bit into them it was nice that the onion broke with it. We ended our meal with chocolate cake for me and peach cobbler cheesecake for my husband, both very good, homemade and you could tell. We will be back, looking forward to eating here again.
