The Helmer House is such a cute little place. It was super cozy and cute! The food was delicious, their cookies are AMAZING, and the owner and staff are wonderful! We had a great time and would highly recommend a stay here at this historic spot.

Stayed there a week and had a different and equally delicious breakfast every morning. Baked goods are terrific, especially the carrot cake, cinnamon rolls, German chocolate brownies, strawberry turnover, lemon cake, cookies (chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, peanut butter, molasses, oatmeal scocharoo, and monster) and blueberry muffins.

My friend took me here for breakfast as we were visiting the lake for the day. This is an amazing hidden gem! We both ordered the breakfast BLT, which was fantastic. And their baked goods all looked amazing and they even had gluten-free baked goods! Unfortunately, unfortunately, I did not have my phone with me so I did not take any pictures. Another cool part about this place is it’s a farm to table restaurant so they get a lot of their ingredients from local farmers which I thought was an amazing touch and everything was so fresh! Wood highly recommend and I know I’ll be back!
We are staying at the Helmer House Inn B&B, and it has been a wonderful experience! The breakfast is fresh farm to table, and you can taste the difference. The restaurant is a very charming atmosphere with scenic views. The staff is very friendly. We will definitely be returning and recommending to our friends.

Maybe a great place for locals, but felt unwelcome by the servers. We tip well but definitely didn’t get the service. Lady was mad that I wanted a refill of water. And felt uncomfortable as if we were unwanted customers. Gave five stars for the cook and bakery goods we took home. Amazing blueberry pancakes!! Huge and fluffy so again great cook!

Excellent spot for breakfast and the bakery counter is a pleasant bonus! Farm to table ingredients are the staple and that quality is noticeable in all items. If you only stop at one place in the area, this has to be it!

It is a very good place! We booked a room in Airbnb for to nights. The house has a great history and the people there are amazing. The breakfast is something just especial. The home made food tastes great and brings back memories from the breakfast at my grandparents and parents house. Just amazing place.
