Chicken Shack is honestly not great, I won’t lie. I can see the appeal, It can be a convenient stop after a lot of activity, but I avoid it at all costs. I went just 2 days ago with my family, and we got kicked out after only 20 minutes because they wanted to combine our table with others for a big group coming in. (Combine 4 tables total) We had 6 people at one table, and we purposely left the connecting table open in case anyone else needed it. (I didn’t even get to place my own food order! The rest of my family got chicken wings of course but I wanted the pulled pork sandwich so I was waiting a little bit until the big line went down. I wanted the pulled pork because I personally just don’t like how they do their chicken) Meanwhile, plenty of other groups who had been there much longer were just lounging, and there were tables nearby with only 3 people who had already finished eating. We were just finishing up ourselves, but we still moved politely. We did let the staff know, though, that the way they handled it wasn’t okay. On top of that, the live music never performed. While we waited for our food, the band kept setting up, playing for a few seconds, stopping, and then disappearing completely. (This has happened ever time I go) AND THE PARKING AREA IS CRAZY SMALL AND UNCOORDINATED!!! And before anyone comes at me. I’ve been there 3 times each time was a bad experience for me. My mom dines there all the time, and this an added bad visit, but it just confirms my feelings. For context, my family has a cottage in that area that’s been in our family since my great-grandparents, so I’ve been going up there my whole life (I’m 22 now). I’m very familiar with the place, and silver lake area and the people-it’s not just a random one-off complaint… and of course my mother and her family have been going to silver lake area with HER grandparents since she was little.
AGAIN I can see the appeal, they need to better coordinate in the future and probably fix their parking because it’s a nightmare

Its a fast food place plenty of seating. The chicken wings are really good. It has a large parking g lot. Certain times of the day you may have to park a block awY. It is a water park with a few clothing stores in the same location.
