Ho Hum. I asked for a regular sized (medium) peanut butter malt using chocolate soft serve. The girl said they could not do that but they could put some chocolate in vanilla ice cream. No explanation given. Seemed unusual but I said ok. Went to pay and they charged me $.50-1.00 for the choc. She should have told me it would cost more! When I got it from pick up window it was so small. I asked about it and they told me I ordered a small when I said "Regular." Not cool, Whippy Dip. Not cool!

Everybody loves whippy dip. There are many ice cream shops in and around the Silverlake Sandune areas, but this one, I believe has been around the longest outdoor seating is abundant. And here is a tip, if you just want a taste of ice cream do not order a small, because the small is two full scoops simply tell the girl behind the counter that you want the smallest size they have a single scoop and you’ll save money.

Ice was good, but had 4 kids and there was over a 20 min wait in between the first kids getting there ice cream and the last, so with little kids you get one screaming where is mine ect and after 10 min i was thinking this is crazy ansked how it was coming and got the rest 10 min later. It seemed very un organized to say the least. Better places to go if you are in the area.
The Smoke shack said we should go get cheese covered fries from Whippy Dip so we went and waited and waited and waited and freaking waited and then were served the most disgusting fries and cheese sauce I've ever had and it made me late for the wedding I had to go to! So I came back a couple hours later to get meat from the smoke place and it was amazing. Definitely would not recommend the Whippy dip food It took way too long and it wasn't good.
