“Wow that's expensive for a sub. Sorry, yes they're very tasty. But never enough meat or cheese. Chintzy these days I guess I have to go with that. Yes very tasty ? bring back the subs from what it was when you first opened up your sub shop.

“Cowboy Up has become my weekend ritual—and for good reason. The food is always amazing, the people are welcoming, and the whole vibe is just right whether you’re rolling in solo or with a group. The line dancing lessons are a total blast. Big shoutout to Sarah, Penny, and Gloria for being incredible instructors who make it fun for everyone, whether you’ve got two left feet or you’re ready for the dance floor spotlight.

Drinks? They’ve got a great variety—just don’t come in expecting a world-class margarita (yet). That’s my one wish for the future: bring on the flavored margaritas and step up that game a bit! Until then, there’s plenty of other great options to sip on.

Even though it’s a bar, drinking isn’t the main event here. The atmosphere, the dancing, and the crowd of regulars (who start to feel like family) are more than enough to keep you entertained. And huge props to Taylor—the best waiter around—for always being on point.

“We just have to say that the new owners really go above and beyond to create amazing experiences for the kids and community. We had our son’s birthday party here and it was wonderful and every detail was covered. We also just finished a summer circus themed camp and it was AMAZING!!! Face-painting, magic, balloon animals, crafts, and lots of play time. Our favorite was the follow up personalized email a week later with so many cute pictures of our kid at camp. Thank you!!!!”

“Worth the drive from Kalamazoo. I love sitting on the deck, with its stately tree in the middle and gorgeous lakeside views. Last night a friend and I tried The Bacon Jammy (a new burger) and loved it! Yummy mix of flavors, gooey in the best way, with crispy edges on our (medium rare) burger. Wow! “My wife and I ordered broasted chicken wich was pretty good. We don't care for white meat so we asked if we could get dark meat and was told yes. When I got the bill I was charged an extra$4 for the dark meat. We were not told this when we ordered. Probably won't go back.”
