This is one place that if you drive downtown you might just overlook as the outside does not scream lakeside .. fine dining.. rather warehouse. However, recently they open for lunch service and a friend and I decided to try it out, he had been there previously before for dinner service. As this was my first visit I didn't know what to expect. As you step inside, you immediately get that fine dinning experience with gorgeous views of the waterfront and their garden out back. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken and chose the house salad, both were delicious and I was happy to see that I didn't have to spend 10 minutes cutting everything up on my salad before I ate it. If I have one complaint about the Teriyaki Chicken it would be I wish there was more sauce on it. My friend got sushi rolls and we both love the fact that there is rice on the outside of the roll, which helps to cover up the seaweed. He let me try one of his sushi rolls and wow it was light and refreshing and delicious.. something I'm not sure I have ever said about a sushi roll. Overall the service was great and while the prices may seem a little high for lunch I do think you get great quality tasting food with a beautiful atmosphere. If you are in the area don't drive by, stop in and have some sushi rolls you will not regret it.

We had a superb meal and excellent service during our visit today. The bread was hot, salad fresh, and our steaks were cooked perfectly. We had a great view of the lake and were able to watch several boats coming in. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. Overall we had a wonderful experience and will visit again when in the area.

The food was excellent. I had filet and lobster. Both cooked perfectly. Garlic Rolls and salad along with a twice baked potato. For dessert I had the crème brûlée. It was all very good. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The courses came promptly but not rushed. The view is perfect. The building was an old dilapidated building that was beautifully restored. Background music soft but not loud enough that you could not hear you dinner companion. The only issue that I saw was that the restrooms are down a flight of stairs. Also this is not a cheap place. Nice to go for something special or a celebration. I only took the one photo and it was of the view.

Good food, I got the spare backribs came with bread butter and salad got a twice bake tatror as well. They didn't want to give us extra bread sticks though asked twice and salad was kind of plain

We visit Bergs at least once a year for our anniversary. Neither of us have had a bad experience. Very friendly kind staff. Clean establishment with a great view! Drinks are nice and strong! Food is exactly what you would expect. Great flavors, great cuts of meat. I wish they would so something with the outside deck area tho!

Bread was amazing!!! We started with a appetizer, shrimp and mushrooms. The shrimp was over cooked and over seasoned. I had a rybeye that was full of fat and lacking flavor. My wife had ordered the jumbo golf shrimp and was overcooked and was like rubber. Kinda reminded of a chain restaurant for quality.

I was going through my photos and realized I hadn't reviewed this place. They were great! We were in the area back in June 2023, working, and were a little under dressed. But the service was excellent anyways, very friendly. The food was perfect. I got Dutchman's Platter (lobster, scallops, shrimp, and salmon). Feast! It was excellent, perfectly cooked, and a very good value for the price. I'd definitely go there again.
