This is one place that if you drive downtown you might just overlook as the outside does not scream lakeside .. fine dining.. rather warehouse. However, recently they open for lunch service and a friend and I decided to try it out, he had been there previously before for dinner service. As this was my first visit I didn't know what to expect. As you step inside, you immediately get that fine dinning experience with gorgeous views of the waterfront and their garden out...
We had a superb meal and excellent service during our visit today. The bread was hot, salad fresh, and our steaks were cooked perfectly. We had a great view of the lake and were able to watch several boats coming in. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. Overall we had a wonderful experience and will visit again when in the area.
The food was excellent. I had filet and lobster. Both cooked perfectly. Garlic Rolls and salad along with a twice baked potato. For dessert I had the crème brûlée. It was all very good. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The courses came promptly but not rushed. The view is perfect. The building was an old dilapidated building that was beautifully restored. Background music soft but not loud enough that you could not hear you dinner companion. The only issue that I saw...
