Have only eaten here occasionally and it was always busy. Today at noon, there were only a few customers. We ordered our drinks and our food. One of the drinks was suppose to have olives and not an orange. Went up to bar after waiting for the bartender to reappear and said I didn’t get olives, he reached into olive bin and just kerplunked them into my drink and walked away. Evidently I bothered him. Our food was okay, but I prefer to frequent places that the server of my food did not have his underwear showing and has a personality! Will not be back. And now I know why this place was not busy! I think employees should have a dress code to suit the beautiful atmosphere!

Not too busy, decent parking in the area, and a good menu. Our burgers were delicious and the service was good. Offers a kids menu and extensive cocktail and beer list.

I’m sorry, but calling what you served me “shepherds pie” is a bit of a stretch. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t shepherds pie. The bartender was very good at mixing drinks, but not very attentive or friendly. Overall it was just ok.

Staff acts like my visit was an inconvenience, distracting from their cell phone. Food is okay, service is terrible.

We stopped here on the way home Memorial Day weekend. Not busy and staff were friendly. We had our dog with us and ate on the patio. The Poutine was great!

My observations: server says no cheese curds, tomato, salmon, wings and something else. St. Patrick's Day menu on the table... It's May, 11th. Margarita came with zero salt. Food was decent except pizza was mostly bare crust. waitress was nice.

I've been here twice now, and both times, everything tasted of soap. The soap was especially noticeable in the glass of water but also in the cake we got from the bakery and took home. The visits were about a year apart, so I can say this has been going on for a while. I can only strongly recommend rinsing your dishes better. Using a vinegar solution will help deactivate the soap and get rid of the spots on your glassware and cooking utensils.

I ordered for pick-up, as I live a couple blocks away. The Star of the show was the Perch! Delicious and both crispy AND moist. It was heaven in my mouth. The perch was paired with the best french fries I have ever had. I am not joking, I would go back for the french fries alone. Very tasty, not an overly salty taste to them. A1 Type Fries, IMO.
Sadly this delicious meal was brought down a tad by the lackluster side dishes. The Beans while okay, tasted like it was just a can of Bush's baked beans. That is all fine, as they were not the worst part of the meal. That honor goes to the mediocre cole slaw. I feel the cole slaw from Walmart (which I dislike) would be a better option.

I do have one tip: Get extra tartar sauce.

I give this meal 4 of 5 stars because of the Stars of the Show: The Perch and French Fries. I will be back but maybe no cole slaw next time.

Spacious, historic building offers many seating options, including high tops and bar stools. The food was inexpensive and delicious!
