We stopped at this restaurant while traveling, about 3 hours from home, and had a really disappointing experience. no one greeted us so we sat down next to the door and waited. After about 5 minutes, a woman finally came out — she was texting on her phone as she walked up, didn’t say hello, and simply said, “the kitchen is closed until 4.”
Right after saying that, she walked away and stood in the middle of the bar on her phone. At first, my friends started to leave because the way she said it made it sound like the kitchen wouldn’t reopen for hours. When I checked the time, it was only 3:50, so I told them we’d just have to wait about 10 minutes.
We were planning to order drinks while we waited, but she never came back or even looked our way. She continued to ignore us and avoided eye contact. To make it even more confusing, there was a lit sign that said “Take Out and Eat In”, and there were people sitting on the patio having drinks, which made it seem like the restaurant was open.

I've been here several times and always enjoyed the food but tonight I got the combo fish fry, perch and walleye for $17.95. What came out was what looked like 1 perch filet and a half of a perch filet, so I asked and was told that was in fact perch and walleye. I was a bit shocked seeing normally walleye is a larger piece of fish. I definitely will not ever get a fish fry from here again as there are much better places to get friday fish in the area, especially for the price. With that being said though, all the other food I've had here has always been delicious, especially the burgers, wings and gyros. Service is also amazing and they have great drinks options.

I went in to have a drink and had the best experience, Jo absolutely made the end to my birthday absolutely amazing. She made me a drink while singing happy birthday to me. Absolutely would recommend going here. Jo is an amazing person and loved getting to meet her. It also has the most amazing view.

We had about a 2 hour lunch. The main problem being that Jo didnt tell us the cook didnt show for work. SO instead of us leaving and finding a place to fit our schedule, we had to wait while Jo cooked and served for us and five other tables, while the owner was at his other restaurant in another town. No issues with Jo, but absentee ownership is never a good thing.

Jo was a great waitress, the only waitresses and she did a great job keeping up with orders and refills as it kept getting busier!!! Great food too.
Stopped in for a lunch, the wife and I split a lb of wings,and an order of fries and a Pepsi, got to watch a freighter com in off the big lake. All in all a enjoyable place.

We always love our trips up to michigan, we ate outside with a beautiful view of the lake and the food was amazing, the service was a bit slow for us to start but some of that was because we were having a fun time and the slow down was a downer lol, once things got rolling though everything was amazing

We thought this would be a fun place for dinner since they had an outside patio. Our table had an ashtray, which was gross but whatever. The menu was definitely lacking good options. The wait time for food was absolutely ridiculous, especially since it wasn’t that busy. When we finally did get it, my boyfriend’s chicken sandwich was literally raw inside. The waitress did apologize and get him a new one, and gave him a free beer and gave us a discount. But I still would never return!
