Had another delicious lunch...gyro. The employees are top notch.
This is the absolute best breakfast in Menominee/Marinette. The food is always amazing & fresh, the staff is always friendly, and the food is very reasonably priced. I love that there’s a full espresso bar and every espresso drink I’ve had from here is also amazing. This will always be my go to for breakfast, I come here a couple times a month. Sometimes it’s really busy on the weekends so I recommend planning more time than you think it’ll be on weekends bc they do get busy but it’s 100% worth it!
Great view of the bay for lunch on the porch. The American Grill Sandwich was awesome.

Excellent breakfast but strange service, lady who served us was a little unsure and then the lady that brought our pastries tried charging us again, coffee took an age to arrive and it wasn’t busy, pastries were eaten long before coffee arrived (coffee and cake was excellent)

An excellent experience every time we visit! The very definition of a home-cooked meal. The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is creative and delicious. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Extra touches add to the atmosphere. It’s a place where you’d want to live.. if you could.

Such an adorable place with fantastic food and even better service! I went for lunch with friends and sat out on the porch with a lovely view. The food was great and Jane was such a treasure! Couldn't recommend more!

Stopped in on a road trip to grab some lunch. Vibe is really chill and cute, servers were friendly, and my chicken salad croissant was fresh and satisfying!

TL:DR Not vegan friendly, poor service, will not be coming here anymore.
I have been coming to the Serving spoon for a long time. I stopped eating dairy and meat 2 years ago and since I have gotten the portobello mushroom sandwich. I omit the pesto and cheese so it literally a bun and mushrooms. They offer mushrooms on breakfast sandwiches so I think, what's the trouble to have the mushroom sandwich for breakfast. The waitress always made me feel like I was doing something terrible asking her to ask the cook to do this. Finally I find out the bun is the issue, they don't have the lunch item out during breakfast (but they always did it, guilting me the whole time). I started getting on a croissant because that's available. Still a bit of an issue. Today I asked for basically the garden breakfast bagel, sub croissant, no cheese or egg (so just spinach, tomato and mushrooms on a croissant). Simpler than the menu item and how many times do people sub breads. The waitress came out and told me I needed to pick something else because they were busy. I stated that I'm literally asking for less than the menu item and the waitress insisted very firmly that I needed to pick another item. So oatmeal or potatoes are it if you're a vegan and want breakfast. ?

Creative dishes, fresh, wholesome ingredients, I am never disappointed at the Spoon.
Excellent breakfast! Really cute, charming place with ample seating indoors and on the porch. Very reasonable prices. $8 for a large breakfast sandwich on a really delicious croissant. My wife enjoyed her veggie Benedict. It was also less than $10.
Coffee is good and the waitress was very pleasant.
