We were thrilled when this place reopened! Still looks the same (minus a few dollar bills). Very small menu but the burgers were really good as was the potato salad. Beers were ice cold and the staff were super friendly from the moment we walked in. It’s the best little hidden gem and a beautiful ride to get there!

Stopped in for a beer on a road trip and had a delightful time. Cozy dive bar environment with inventive drinks and attentive wait staff. Must be great food, too, because the place was filling up as we were leaving!
The name tells you what to expect. Its a great local dive bar. Food is above average for a dive bar, service is quick and friendly. Order some Buck Nuts while you figure out what else you will eat, they are the perfect deep fried app to enjoy with a cold local beer.

Bucksnort never disappoints. No frills local bar with good bar food, decent beer, and a great staff. Always a treat to stop in when I'm in Mesick. Ruben egg rolls and the wings are excellent! Oberon on draft plus a great selection of local craft, American staples, and wine and seltzers.
