Food was not particularly great. It wasn't that busy but the waiter was pretty mia except for hovering when collecting the bill. Dinner might be better than lunch but I wouldn't come back. Also overpriced.

A beautiful rustic restaurant! We came for a late lunch around 3 pm and it was almost empty. They have humongous asparagus which we enjoyed both fried as an appetizer and steamed as a side to the porkloin. Menu does not have any vegetarian options except for the asparagus. I enjoyed the salad bar instead which was satisfying. They have great coffee as well. Welcoming and helpful staff, plenty of parking.

We were a party of three for a late lunch. Two of us had the whitefish sandwiches and one had soup and salad bar. The whitefish sandwich is deep fried, be aware of that. I prefer grilled and a bit healthier, but that's not what they had. I managed to eat around the fish fried batter and the actual fish was very tasty. Our waitress was named Taylor and she ran the whole show. She was in charge of many tables as well as people sitting at the bar. She was friendly as can be and did a great job. None of us had ever been here before so it was fun. Nostalgic, especially knowing the film history there. We will return to try something different off the menu also. The outdoor seating looks like it must be fun in the evenings with a fire pit and a stage for music. Be aware of their hours and call ahead if you are coming with a larger party. I can see that with the campgrounds nearby it must be hit or miss with people who may show up for a meal. I will attach photos. Thank you Taylor for your kindness today.

The food was excellent. They even have a salad bar that comes with all entrees. The service, however, was quite lacking. We were greeted and seated promptly and were looking over the menus when the server came to take drink orders. So far, so good. However, I wasn’t quite ready to order, so he went to put our drinks in. I should have ordered right then, however, because it was quite some time before he returned with our drinks and to take our food orders. While we were eating, he stopped by to refill the two out of four glasses that needed it. And, unfortunately, that was the last time we saw him voluntarily. We finished our meals and sat there, ignored, for at least 30 minutes (I was keeping track on my watch). My husband finally just went up to the bar to try to get the bill. I originally had planned to order a drink and also a dessert to go, but I was afraid we’d be sitting there for another half hour, so I said just to pay the bill and go. And there was no offer of free dessert or a small discount or anything for our patience—before or after we also had to wait an additional 15 minutes for them to fix the POS system so we could pay! We aren’t locals, just here on vacation, so we likely won’t be back, but I *would* go back for the food—I would just order EVERYTHING at once because we may never see the server again!

Have been coming to Mt Shasta for years while on vacation!! The service was excellent! We sat outside and it was perfect for our dogs and the gazebo area kept my son entertained while we waited for dinner! The burger was seasoned well and the waffle fries were delicious! The kids Mac n cheese was the only negative…looked like Kraft and wasn’t good at all!

Liliaann was our server. We could not have asked for a better service. From our pre dinner drink to our spicey whitefish appetizers to our fish dinner. It was all excellent!

Loved this little gem. Was on a road trip and one of the stops was Mount Shasta so we had to stop here. LOVED the log cabin atmosphere and super friendly staff. We had Liv as a server and they were so genuine and great. Lastly, the food was AMAZING, got the whitefish and salad bar and soup, fresh delicious. Thanks for a wonderful lunch!

On a road trip from out west we were looking for a neat place to have dinner and I'm so glad we found it. Great food, great atmosphere. The waitress entertained all of my dad's countless questions about the place. Wish it wasn't 2000 miles away or I would come back again.
