I have passed by this place a hundred times, but always after it was regular business hours and closed! I lucked out on this particular trip, but made it right at closing time! While there were virtually only a few cookies left the owner said she had some baked cinnamon rolls in the freezer. I got a couple of cookies that were good, but the cinnamon rolls were unbelievably delicious for breakfast the next day! Maybe the best I've had since I sold my own bakery in 1976! Do stop in if you are in the area... If you don't see what you want, ask if they have any of the cinnamon rolls in the freezer! You'll thank me if you do! ?

All the donuts were delicious! I was obviously a new customer, the worker wasn't helpful or personable at all. Apparently, you have to be a regular to get good service because that's the only time she was personable. Seems like you would encourage new customers. The parking lot is also a bit rough so watch your steps.
Love all the baked goods and their sandwiches and soups. Everything is very well priced as well.

I just finished an amazingly lush and tender raspberry filled Heavenly Bismarck donut bought from the nicest lady at Country Bakery in Middleton. My family and I are traveling to a college tour. We decided to take the back roads to check out the fall colors and I was hit with a donut craving. I googled donut shops near me thinking I'd find none. To my surprise Country Bakery was just 8 miles away. It's tiny but clean, fragrant and friendly and the donuts!!! The Donuts are sooo fresh and yummy.I told my husband next time I wanted donuts we are going on a road trip.

The Pastie and gravy was delicious, the donuts were fresh and perfectly sugared. Their Tamales were fantastic and among the most authentic I have had in Michigan. Will be returning repeating my order and leaving with a bag of those Tamales!
