OH MY, have I been sleeping on this place. Blown away.
I’ve been coming to Gun Lake every summer for 38yrs and this little building just down the gas station has been so many different things over the years that I’d basically written it off.
Well let me tell you, DO NOT write off C’s for pizza and BBQ.
I ordered 1lb of sliced brisket and meat lovers calzone. Every single bite was amazing.
Brisket: the size of the slice (a bit larger than your common “pencil thickness”) had a great bite to it. I had a nice cross section where flat turned into point which was delicious. The bark was dark and solid, yet not hard or crusty and the salt level on the outside was absolutely perfect…chef’s kiss.
Calzone was standard but also huge and very tasty.
As the 20-something TikTok influencers like to say…run, don’t walk, to C’s. Place is solid.

Came from out of town to visit family, and this place was HIGHLY recommended. Now I understand why.
The BBQ is fresh, and the hearty proportions are insane. But I can’t get over the pizza. The most perfect balance between crispy and soft dough. The cheese pull could win awards. And they didn’t shy away from the amount of toppings. I need everyone to start taking notes, because this is how pizza should be! I’m already planning my next visit.
Staff and owners are absolutely wonderful and so welcoming. Makes everyone feel like family.

This is really excellent pizza !! We placed a big order this past weekend for a family reunion and every single person commented on how delicious those pizzas are...and we know that not all pizzas are that good. I placed the order from Oregon before I arrived in Michigan and Will was fantastic on the phone. When we picked them up a few days later, everything was exactly as we had ordered, they were ready at the exact time we requested, along with the nice big salad tray and delicious dressings. This was such a positive experience! I highly recommend them not just because the pizzas were so good but because they handled a big order impeccably.

We were camping and craving some pizza. Called C's half an hour before closing and they happily took our order. We went with the meat lovers pie. It was fantastic! Some of the best sausage I've had on a pizza along with plenty of the rest of the toppings. We had one slice left over and took the toppings off that and made a four egg omelette the next morning for breakfast. So, yes plenty of toppings. Thank you crew for an unforgettable pizza! We were there August 23rd.
Possibly the best pizza I've had! It was an impromptu order while camping in the rain and it was a fantastic choice!

It was truly a delight to dine at C's Pizza and BBQ. The staff there are very friendly and helpful . The service was amazing. They are helpful. The atmosphere was peaceful. The Pizza that I had was out of this world!!! I don't remember the last time that I had a Pizza that good. The crust was light and fluffy. The garlic butter on the crust was an extra flavorful bonus! The veggies were fresh tasting. The sausage was like wow! So tasty!
Got the brisket wrap and it was pretty good.
