Some of the worst lattes I’ve ever had. They say you can judge a coffee place based on their vanilla latte, because if they can’t get the right then they likely won’t do well with the rest. That holds true here. Not only did the vanilla latte taste nothing like coffee, it was weak at best. Their “Faithful” (peanut butter and Carmel) tasted like a candle with some of the worst after taste I’ve ever had. I couldn’t take more than a few sips of it.
Their website shows food and meals, but they only had some sourdough and cookies, no real food.
The service was adequate, but nothing special. You’re best off going to the small diner next door.

It would be 5 stars if this wasn't the second time there were no pastries. To the management, please Pplan ahead and freeze them or buy something to serve when the baker is not available. I do love this place and their mission. Please support them.

I love going in to Left Field Coffee Bar every time I come back to Michigan! Not only does it serve up a delicious beverage, the owner Johnny is also very friendly, welcoming, and involved in the business. It’s a cute, inclusive place that fills a special niche in the community.
This is the first Google review I have written, but I cannot understand how this business is still operating (if it is). Three out of the last three times over the last few months I have tried to go here during posted open hours it has been closed. Including today at 9am on a Tuesday while the open sign was illuminated in the window. Disaster.
