The owner talked with us for a bit while we waited for our meal. She is a fabulous lady with a beautiful place! Can't wait to come back to try more amazing food!

Love this Polish place. Polish owner grew up in West Detroit and brought a mix of what they grew up with (Polish and a bit of Mexican). Reminds me of my Busia's (GMA's) house and the great polish food we had. Kielbasa, Golabki, Pierogi, Sauerkraut. Used to go to Polish Village Cafe in Hamtramck or Sabina's in Melvindale. Love the feel of the tables, the big food and great service for honestly a very reasonable price. This is my new go to Polish dining fix.

4/5 Czapski's has incredible ambition for taking on cuisines that couldn't be more different! The pierogi dinner was worth getting - texture and flavor were perfect. However, the chicken tacos were quite sad. Do yourself a favor and stick to the Polish options. I don't eat beef and pork so I'm a bit limited with what I can order. I'd return if they had more chicken dishes under the Polish section of the menu.

60 $ & I waited over an hour for TOTAL of 4 pierogis, two potato pancakes and the 2 stuffed cabbage (all appetizer, not the dinners). The food quality seems to have gone down & the food costs have increased.
After a half hour, I asked how much longer ? since I was the only other person in the restaurant and they said they were gonna start it right then. Then I waited another 30 minutes & the way the cook came out just scolded me when I requested that the two separate potato pancakes be separate not together. No thank you - I got a big side of bad attitude & No customer service.
The restaurant was not busy at all. They had one large table when I came in who had ordered already. They had a large Carry out order that the person was 10-12 minutes early for and I still hadn’t received my Carryout order.
We try & support small business owners. We will not be returning OR recommending this restaurant any longer. For the hour drive, I’d rather go to the Polish deli down in Hamtramck.
This restaurant needs to lose the cooks attitude and try to do a little bit more customer service.

The food was exceptional. Please get the beets. They are no bigger than a gum ball and are super sweet. Green beans had a lot of rosemary, just okay. Nice bar section.
If I go again, I'll get the wedding plate with extra meat.
The carrots cake was delicious, too.

We were so excited to try this restaurant. Waited 10 minutes for a server to bring us menus. Asked for waters and waited another 10 minutes. During the wait decided to have our orders ready when the server returned. Asked for the city chicken, promptly told they were sold out! That seemed odd as it was only 6pm on a Saturday, pivoted to the potato pancakes, promptly told that was also sold out.
My family of 4 said thank you and got up and left. Wish I thought we would try them another time, but we likely won’t.
Restaurantji Recommends
Food is amazing. Coming from a polish background, this food beats any polish food I have tasted all over michigan. Highly recommend! Also the service is on point 😃

The best Polish food I've ever had at a restaurant. Potato pancakes, pierogi, meatballs, green beans, kielbasa, Golumpki (don't know how to spell lol). Everything was amazing even the Pickle soup and dessert (German chocolate cake and carrot cake).

Absolutely loved this little place !! Authentic, homemade Polish food, fun and kind waitress, and the interior is filled with all kinds of little tchotchkes !!! Plus, they also have beer and wine. The golombki ( stuffed cabbage) and city chicken were so delicious, I wanted to lick the plate !!
