The streets of Milford were empty on a cold December afternoon, however, this place was packed. Lively atmosphere. I had a monthly special cookie butter iced latte, it was delicious. It was so good I wanted to chug it but I paced myself so I could savor it. I didn’t have any but the baked goods looked wonderful. Definitely worth a return trip.

I have only been here a couple of times (first time by chance, second time intentionally😉👍) They have a variety of yummy coffee options to choose from. I enjoyed both of my choices! However, LOVED that they have affagatos..... YUM!! friendly and helpful service both visits. I am sure I will find myself here again the next time I am in the Milford area🌞

Parking: There is parking on the Main street put frint, but I was able to easily find a spot both times in the parking area behind the buildings!! There is a back entrance to the building 👍

I really wanted to like this place but both pour-overs were very cold and under extracted. Sadly I didn't notice until after I drove away because the coffees were for take-out. To be clear, I ordered in store, picked them up from the counter immediately, and took my first sip about 5-10 minutes later in the car and it was already cold.

The quality of a small town should be measured by the quality of its indie coffee shops; based on The Proving Grounds, Milford, MI is an A+ 5 Star town. I’ve ordered and am enjoying a hot Maple Pecan latte which is heavenly. They had me at “Made in house syrups “ Extra points for roasting fair trade green beans in house! If you’re looking for a great experience drive the extra 100 miles for this Milford, MI treasure!

Best place to get fresh brewed coffee in Milford.the staff here is incredible, most of the staff knows exactly what I order and I only drop in about once a week. it is a cozy establishment. only problem is just like the rest of main St, it's hard to get a parking spot close by. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves coffee. they also have a wide variety of sweet treats, Sammie's and ice cream.
