First trip up north to Mio for bow hunting with some friends who have gone there for decades. Great place! Bar service was fast and helpful, food was great, bartenders Jodie and Ashley were a lot of fun while seriously handling their business like pros. Prices were very reasonable. I went from being the “F***ing New Guy” to one of the gang by day two. Quite a cast of characters working both front and back of house, and they all really took great care of their guests and took pride in keeping a clean and fun saloon. 5/5 will be back next year if they’ll have me :-)
I was in the area to fish the Au Sable River. This place provided plenty of local flavor. The beer and burger were great, and the service was quick. The two women tending bar seemed worn out— they were probably tired of everybody’s bullshit.

This place was a great small town bar. My drink was mixed well. The food was delicious. Excellent job to the cook. The waitress was on top of her game. My boys and I enjoyed our food. We will be back to try other menu's items. This is a very cool bar. Love the dollars all over the ceiling.
