The service was great, the atmosphere was hometown pride!! Love all the local schools being honored here. The food was not the best we've had here. Hubby's ribs were good but dry. Sauce was good. They could give you more coleslaw. A little dipping sauce cup full. A small bowl would be better. My quesadilla salad was ok. Usually, it's great. Needed more chicken in it, Chicken was dry.. Portion size is great. Always get to take some home. Servers and hosts were polite and friendly. Took good care of us. The server was going to fix our food.

Very disappointed. 4 out of 5 of us got our food while the one person had to wait for another 10 minutes. The food could have been better. Why ask how you want a steak or a burger cooked when you don't get it the way you asked. Steamed broccoli was probably steamed for 2 minutes. Terrible. Then we get an excuse that there was a disconnection between communication, like are you kidding me right now!?

Food was not very good, pasta was starchy and stuck together, sons chicken tenders were cold. Waitress was nice but only seen a couple of times, and no refills were given. She had to many tables to properly serve guest. Would I go back?

I'm a 60 year old man. My wife and I stopped by Applebee's 9PM Saturday February 8th 2025. My wife kissed me on my left ear and the manager screamed from the bar area to our corner table next to the window, "This is a family establishment!!!'. I just shook my head.
It was a snowy day and 4 cars including mine parked across from the "To Go" parking. Since the ground wasn't groomed and there wasn't handicapped signs none of the patrons knew that was a handicapped area. The manager went from table to table yelling if those 4 cars belonged to each customer in the restaurant. I told her that one car was mine. She wanted me to move it at 15 minutes to closing time. I paid for my meal and left our drinks behind.
The wait staff told me as I left that the manager treats them even worse than the customers. I used to frequent Applebee's in Monroe Michigan, & purchase $500+ gift cards every December. I'm not going where I am accosted while trying to enjoy a meal out. Absolutely Disgusted, S. Wallace

I went to apple bees multiple times in my life, and as much as it been around I feel like it's just been getting worse and worse everytime, but this time It was decent.
Cleanliness and Atomopshere: - For one, most of the tables were clean, some had no dishes and still had water and crumbs everywhere. The floors were okay, but definitely seemed a little dirty. The building was almost empty. They had a couple of old folks around which definitely enabled the old atmosphere, but it was peaceful. I really liked how they had pictures of different parts of monore which me and my family went to go see, it brought back good memories and was pretty good.
Service: - Our waitress seemed to have a southern accent, and I'm from Louisiana so I was able to catch on quickly. She was very sweetie and very helpful about our questions on the menu, the only problem was she kept on butting in every minute she could which was a little annoying. There was also another waitress which I think she was new, but she was doing some restocking and some cleaning and she was so apologetic when she bumped into my family member which I thought was very respectful and a nice change of pace for society.
Food: -food was pretty fresh for the most part. Our appetizers were definitely fresh, but my entree was definitely a little cold. The drinks were honestly bomb..but definitely a sugar rush. I got the tropical strawberry swirl smoothie..something like that. It was red and blue. It was good.
We didn't stay long enough because we had business to attend to, but definitely a decent experience. Would recommend for a quick lunch.

Sevice was ok I guess besides it was slow and the waitresses was complaining the whole time about another waitresses and about other things the whole time food seemed like it was reheated my stake was not rear like I asked it was hard to eat like it was microwaved and my boyfriends Posta was definitely reheated big disappointment
