I used to brag about this place and how good it was! Until recently.. ever since the blonde older women stopped working the quality of the food has gone down horribly. They barely put any meat, sauce, and/or toppings on the sandwiches. They also tend to over toast the sandwich’s where part of the bread is usually burnt. But my latest issue is that I’ve ordered the BLTA (Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado) the past 4 times we’ve ate here and the last 3/4 had no avocado. What’s the point of ordering a BLTA if you don’t get the avocado. The last time I had to mention it over the phone to make sure they put it on the sandwich, and when I received the sandwich they barely put any on it. One half had three small slices and the other had two little slices.

BEST RUEBEN EVER!!!! The cheese bread was pretty good too. I want to buy a bottle of the peppercorn. Everything was so good. The staff was extremely nice too. I would add photos but I devoured it. It was so good. The only thing I would change is that they were open later.

I'm obsessed with their cranberry curry chicken salad! They are straight to the point, quick, fresh ingredients, and you get what you pay for. I'm a salad lover and prefer to make them a home because nothing comes close to the gourmet stuff I make, but I buy from EBC a few times a month when I get a craving for that amazing salad of theirs.

I’m from out of town and always happen to be around on the days Erie Bread Co is closed. But the rare occasions I’m in Monroe during business days, I’m coming here to pick up lunch no questions asked. I don’t even mind eating it in the car, that’s how good it is. The Upstairs Chris is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, and anyone I’ve brought here has loved their choices too. The garlica pizza is also out of this world. Definitely a place you go for the food, service and atmosphere are average but it’s clean and the staff are respectful. Highly suggest this place to anyone looking for good eats!

Ordered 3 sandwiches, all three had burnt bread and it took away a lot from the flavor. Bread was so burnt it was painful to chew. Any other time I had visited this place it was great. Would have rather waited for properly made food than what I was given. Should have known when I walked in cause it smelled like burnt bread.
