The Harbor Hook & Grille offers a mixed dining experience. The chicken and waffles brunch special is highly recommended for its perfect seasonings and textures. The Reuben sandwich and salmon are also noted as good choices. However, some guests faced issues, including loud music that hindered conversation and poor service, with long waits for drinks and appetizers. The calamari was described as chewy, and the clam chowder was criticized for being runny and overly buttery.
The fries are described as pretty good with nice spice, and the Cobb salad as tasty, though a bit small. Serving sizes are not anything to fuss about, and prices are okay. The bartender is very nice, and the place seems cozy. The food is very good, and the wait staff is friendly and quick. The fish sandwich and burger are mentioned as good options. The bruschetta is amazing, and the perch and Mahi mahi are wonderful, with perfect presentation and right-sized portions at reasonable prices.
