The food was great! Even the salad was super fresh! The atmosphere was nice it was busy(so a little loud but to be expected)and the lighting was dim which made it nice and comfortable/romantic. The service left a lot to be desired. She never once got us a refill on any drinks. All three glasses stayed empty the entire time even when she brought the check. Also she overcharged the check by 13$ it may have been an accident and she did make it right so I only mention it bc u never know.. Overall it was a nice experience and I wouldn't mind giving it another chance! I still left 20% bc maybe it was just an off day we all have them! The prices were decent for the atmosphere and food! Approximately $100 for 3 of us one was a child..and we all got soft drinks and shared an appetizer.

Don't order the French Onion soup. Very salty and extremely heavy. Couldn't eat it. Sandwiches were okay. Michigan Club had American cheese on it. Not a good cheese.

Service was horrible. Was a good thing that I ordered the special. Crab cake for the appetizer and prime rib for the main course. The crab cakes way over priced for 3 very small crab cake that needed the sauce to cover up the char from the pan. Then I finally received my salad from a speed walking waitress that slide the plate in front of me while she is walking by. Finally after over 2 hours sitting there, my prime rib finally arrived with a cold bake potato and butter that was frozen. I sent it back paid for what I did eat any left. Thank you Michigan Bar and grill for the worst night ever. I will not recommend nor will I be back

Very bad experience, my BF and I both ordered the prime rib medium. It took forever despite the bar not even being busy. When it did arrive they were well done not medium and cold. When I said something she asked if I wanted warm ajui to put in it. Lmao like that would work.. the side was even cold. It took so long to get the first time I was afraid to swns it back. She didn't even offer a discount. We will not be going back there again. If I'm going to pay for a meal i expect it the way I order it.

We came here because we have been wanting to try it out for a while. Our server was friendly, but the service was not good at all. It takes a lot for me to complain about service because I am a bartender and generally give a lot of leeway, stuff happens and I get it. However I would highly recommend retraining wait staff. The food was incredible and it's a shame the rest of the experience didn't match what we ate. I'm not sure we will be back just for the food considering the service.
